Easy to use , and works great

I purchased this to replace the power strip that a power surge destroyed in my sofa table! Perfect fit, and works great. Very happy!

Look, I really like the convenience of having plugs, fast charging port, etc on a dresser or nightstand and I didn't want to buy a new piece of furniture. Well.....I am fearless with projects (not always has good outcome) and struck out and purchased these. Wow, where do I begin: (1) they are much bigger than expected and very deep- so you must anticipate the measurements and depth of this unit when determining where you want to place them on your furniture (2) there was no template included with this- in other words a rectangle cut out that you could place on the furniture and then trace out the hole you will be cutting to slide it in. Make sure if you are installing on a dresser/side table that has a drawer that you consider the clearance of the drawer. Anticipate having to cut the exit hole for the cord (3) You need the right tool to cut your hole for installation. Now my husband has every tool known to man but they are not organized. I used a dremel tool with cutting disc, an oscillating saw and jigsaw to cut different holes. I liked the Dremel tool best but it generated a lot of heat so maybe the jigsaw was best. Lastly, I recommend you have some white or whatever color caulk to will help conceal your mistakes once you are done. I was able to fill gaps and holes that my inexperience left behind with white caulk. In the end, consider sparing yourself the trouble (unless you have a couple of hours) and just buy a cheap nightstand from Wayfair with the outlets already installed. :)

This Recessed Power Strip is an excellent product when you want to have power and a USB in one low profile place. You can plug-in the attached cord to a nearby outlet or cut the plug off and hard wire. One note that will be helpful; Be sure you are cutting a hole to exactly the proper dimensions. When you drop the unit into the hole you have cut, if ti does not fit exactly, you will see open space around the edge. That will not give you a clean, sharp finished look. Maybe even go a little too tight, at first, the expand little by little, until the fit is just right? Measure twice, cut once.

We needed a way to keep the clutter off of our bathroom counters, and a way to charge our phone using a variety of connectors. This product was perfect for it. The install was fairly easy. Just popped the drawer out, drew a template outline, cut the hole out, stuck the device through it, and screwed it down. We had an electrician then install an outlet behind it on the wall of the cabinet, and strap the excess cord so that it would not drop into the drawer below it. Since it was near water (the sink), we ensured the circuit around it was a GFCI protected.

We added this outlet to our kitchen island because it’s sleek and was easy to hide under the countertop. I highly recommend the 20w version if you’re going to plug in phone charges because it’s better for your battery and the charging speed will be much quicker.

This USB-C Desktop Power Bar is a fantastic addition to any workspace or kitchen. The built-in design is really practical for keeping your counter or desk clutter-free since it eliminates those dangling cords. I mounted it on my counter, and it has definitely helped improve the overall clutter.One downside is that the lip on two sides is really thin, so the hole you cut needs to be measured exactly right. There’s very little margin for error, so take your time during installation.Overall, it's a fantastic, affordable addition to any desk or countertop, but be careful with the installation to get it perfect!

Very convenient & easy installation

We purchased this for a headboard my boyfriend built. It works great and is very convenient to have our phone chargers plugged in there.
