filter is not up to OEM airflow standards, carbon filter is not cut perfectly square and has trouble fitting. HEPA filter also had small manufacturing defects, like glue on the back, and one of the folds had visible damage.Also, the replacement filter's airflow is so restricted that it started burning out my fan, causing a noticeable burning smell. Do not buy product for Winix, as it will burn out your fan.

I have a love-hate relationship with Winix 5500-2. It's a "cheap" air purifier compared to other brands, yet its brand filters cost about half the price of a new unit. It's unreasonable. So I am looking for some similar filters to replace and keep the unit going.#Pros:- Great set. Come with a HEPA filter, 4 carbon filters, and 1 cleaning brush at only $30.- 4 carbon filters you could change monthly, or every other month to prolong the life of your HEPA filter. Huge value for your money.- This HEPA filter is much thicker than the original. It'll capture more allergens.- The cleaning brush is a nice add-on for general maintenance of the air purifier.- No funky smell. Easy to install. Work great so far, if not better than the originals.#Cons:- These carbon filters look cheap, and unwashable.- Because this HEPA filter is thicker, you wouldn't be able to use the hexagon designed carbon filter that came originally with the air purifier.

Great for the money. Paid 80 last time and the filter is really all I needed. It did have a slight chemical smell at first which was odd but did go away. I am not normally sensitive to that kind of stuff but it seemed odd. After a few hours though I didnt notice it so maybe it was from the packaging. Seems to work great and fit well. I would order again. Just was surprised to smell the odor at first for something hepa but maybe It was some kind of sanitizing in the packaging

This is a pretty good solution for the Winix cost and price options for an air filter. You'll have to replace the air filter every year or so. It looks like an automatic timmer that wants you to replace the air filters. I'm not in favor of replacing everything, but this is a pretty cheap option for the air filter. We get wildfires every year in the west. It is amazing how horrible the smoke is. I'm allergic to it and all of the pollen in the air during the spring and summer. I think this is a good price for what you get.

This HEPA filter fits my WINIX 5500-2 very well and the filter sheets are a nice bonus. This set is a great price compared to WINIX, who does not seem to sell the HEPA with out the washable carbon filter.

The merchandise arrived in good shape and on time. The filter is not OEM, but fits just fine. It collected the same amount of dirt after months of use,, so I assume it performs as well as OEM

It fits my Winix 5300. Came with 1 HEPA-like filter and four carbon filter sheets (original carbon filter is made with carbon pallets encased in a solid plastic housing). The HEPA filter is slightly thicker than the original filter but the carbon filter sheet that came with the package fits nicely. I doubled up the carbon filter as a good measure. You cannot use this HEPA filter with the reusable original carbon filter.

Didn't even realize these weren't Winix, they seen exactly like the filters that originally came with it.

Ordered this product based on the review and I'm very happy that this filter fits perfectly for any Winix air cleaner that uses Type A filter. I used the the original Winix carbon activated filter and it fits nicely. I have not tried the included carbon filter, but I assume it will fit as well like the original Winix carbon filter. Highly recommended and great value!

These filters are an excellent price, but you can tell they're not quite on the same standard as the OEM Winix filters. The HEPA filter seems to be very similar to the OEM, nice pleats, and similar thickness. The carbon filter is definitely inferior though. It is not nearly as thick or dense as the OEM filter, and the carbon coating is almost nonexistent. The OEM carbon filter has a clean carbon smell, as well as a "tacky" feel to it, not sticky, but a grippy coating. The I-Clean doesn't have that at all. I don't even know if it has a carbon coating/infusion in it. It might just be a black fiber filter.I guess it's fine for just a HEPA replacement filter, but kind of disappointed with the carbon filter. I also ordered 2 sets for both my Winix P300 and Winix C535. Overall, they seem just okay, but I don't know if I'll order this brand again or go with something else next time I need a replacement.
