Very tight fitting; maybe too tight?
They arrived before the promised date range, but it was still two and a half weeks. I realize the package was coming from China, but come on....was it attached to a fish's back for transit? Lol. I also noticed that the customs form on the outside of the envelope indicated that it contained a "phone case." Not sure why they manufacturer/shipper felt the need to lie as to the contents, but that seems a little sketchy -- at least they are liable for that, not me. Anyways, as to the product itself, the earring safety backs work well because they are *really* tight, even on thin wire fishhook earrings. The problem is they are *so* tight that I am afraid to push much harder to slide them further on because I am worried that I'll end up bending my fishhook earrings (I don't think this would be so much of an issue on stud earrings, as they are sturdier). This is why I can't give them a better than an "It's Okay" rating. I would like to be able to slide them up so that the safety back is hidden behind my ear lobe, but I can't they have to remain are clearly visible while wearing. Oh, well.EDITED TO ADD: They seem to loosen up a bit if you twirl them around the wire back of your earring, and then you can push them further on more easily. But then, you have to twirl them again before being able to take them off without fear of bending the fishhook. It's good that they are tight and secure, and I wonder if they are just so tight when first used and will loosen up to a more reasonable level once used a few more times. But overall, I still think they're better than not.

Perfect In Every Way
I keep the package right next to my earrings, so when I drop the backing that comes with the earring or struggle to put it on, I just replace it with one of these. These have worked for any pair of earrings that I've needed a substitute backing. They also work well as an extra support to earrings that tend to come loose or earrings that lay or hang oddly. Great price and very easy to pick up and handle.

Works great for studs...
These work great, but should really only be used for studs. These are small, the the larger shape of the "cone" is only about 3 or 4mm in diameter. Therefore, they really only have enough support for smaller studs. Larger, weighty ear rings need a larger backing to keep the jewelry from hanging down on the lobe and facing downward. In addition to replacing the backs, my wife also uses them in addition to the normal backing, to keep the pins from poking her in the neck. She's very please with them and would use them again.

These are a great product for the price
These are a great product for the price. I work with children and some work days can be very active. However, I still like to wear fun accessories and after losing a few earrings at work I decided I needed to come up with a solution. These rubber clutches don't fit every single one of my earrings snugly, but as French wires/earring hooks are not all identical in thickness I don't think any one product would. They do however fit the majority of my earrings and, once again, you can't beat the value for the price.

Comfortable and Snug
I bought these because my earring posts would poke me when I used the phone, which was very uncomfortable. These were the perfect and allowed me use the phone cradled on my shoulder without pain from the earring post. The earring posts are easily able to puncture right through the back of these rubber backs, however, they're snug enough to stay in place if I position them to cover the post.

Product As Advertised - Just Beware of Where They Are Being Shipped From
I needed replacement backs for a lot of my earrings and these were exactly what I had in mind. I did not realize however they would take 2 months to arrive (my fault for not paying closer attention to the details). But when they finally did arrive, they worked out perfectly and I have a good supply on hand for when I lose the metal backs to my earrings.

Cheap solution to potentially expensive problem
After nearly losing an earring crossing the street in Manhattan -- luckily I retrieved it from the ground before the light changed -- I knew I needed some safer earring protection. These were cheap and they do the job just fine. If they seem too tight for the earring wire, rotate them on and off, and they'll be fine. I don't know if the other reviewers who complained about the size of the holes tried that. I haven't found any earrings that don't work with these, though your mileage may vary.

Great Stash to have of Earring Backs!
Took a while to arrive, but it was expected and was worth it for the price. Arrived well packaged and they were just as described. I am always losing the backs to my earring so it's nice to have to go-to bag now instead of stealing the backs off of other earrings. It's convenient and now I don't cringe when I lose one since I know I have a stash of replacements backs at the house. I would buy again for sure.

Good product
The keepers are small and discrete. They slide on fairly easily both the skinny and wider earring posts. They are a little smaller than I would prefer but that is because at my age both my dexterity and eyesight can use a little help.

ok
Very small, but it's ok, the bigger size are easier to use but those are decent and usable.
