A great product - when you can get it working. Some administrative changes needed so that this smart bulb works with a bt hub. You will need to set your hub to 2.4g only and then change to mode 3. After those changes, it works like a dream. I have linked mine to my new Google home - easy as you like.

I was extremely pleased with these smart lights (I bought two). They were very well packaged and arrived the day after ordering.I wanted these bulbs to work alongside Alexa as she now controls several devices such as plugs, bulbs and my heating.The setup was very easy compared to previous smart bulbs I'm using and it would appear that this aspect is getting easier as the 'Smart Home' progresses from those very first devices. Not too fiddly to set up and the app is very responsive. The integration with Alexa was seamless and everything works as it should straight out of the box.I was particularly pleased with the quality of this product, the packaging was solid and well made as is the bulb itself, I've used other smart bulbs in the past that have felt very dubious, to say the least - that can't be said for these. The quality is outstanding and the value for money is amazing.I would recommend these without a doubt.

This bulb lasts approximately 20,000 hours whereas some state they last 25,000 - 30,000 hours but there is no way of knowing what one can get from any bulb and unnecessary over-usage will undoubtedly shorten the life of any bulb. It has however got compatibility issues with some smart applications, such as PlusMinus ( which I use) and the eFamilyCloud that the product recommends in the user guide but I have tried it and it is not recognised in the Google Home list of compatible applications, so very basic features are only possible.Unfortunately, I will need to return the item as I have ordered a make from Amazon that I already own which does not have these compatibility issues, either with my smart application or Google Home/Assistant.

Ease of installation.followed instructions that came with bulb.downloaded app from net had lamp being controlled by my phone in 20 secs.great paired with alex a in about one minute. My hub is plusnet great product buy 1

I have a Virgin Hub 3.0 router, which operates both 2.4GHz & 5.0GHz, which I gather causes some issues with some Wi-Fi devices, it certainly has with me before now, but I am happy to say not with this Smart Bulb, I found it connected easily enough and operated as I expected it too, both via the eFamilycloud App and through Alexa on my Amazon Echo Dot (3rd Gen) it gives off a good White light, which is tunable from a Warm Glowing to a Sharper Cool White to suit your purposes, there is also a choice of pretty much any colour you can want, my only problem was the instruction manual, yes you now need an instruction manual to work a lightbulb, isn't technology great lol..., not sure the size of the wording in the manual would qualify as 'Small Print' some legal departments would wish they could get away with such tiny print, I had to whip out my magnifying glass to see it, but once you have scanned the QR code and downloaded the app, then scanned the 2nd QR code and got instructions you can actually read, the installation and operation is rather simple.

UPDATE: Bulb has died after exactly 13months.Great value for money SMART bulbs that were easy to connect and get working with my Amazon Alexa. Im only using them as white lightbulbs but the colours are strong if you prefer something a little funkier.The instruction leaflet was hard to read as the writing is tiny but basically they connect the same way most smart bulbs too so i was used to it and abl e to set them up quickly. I find photographing the instructions with my smartphone enables me to view the manual better by zooming in on the picture.7Watts of power gives an excellent illumination for a mood light and i can imagine in a small room would be adequate as an only lamp.All in all, im pleased with them and recommend them without hesitation

Had a smart bulb before off Amazon and was impressed. I wanted something that did the same as my previous purchase, but cheaper. This 2pk was cheaper than what i paid for one bulb last time around, and they do exactly the same things. Their not quite as bright as my other bulb, but for their bargain price i cant complain. I’m tending to buy smart plugs/bulbs that work with the smart life app, so everything connects quickly easily and seamlessly when i purchase the smart devices. You cant go wrong with these bulbs, especially at that price for a pack of 2.

These are excellent. I bought these for my flat since I can’t change out the light switches and the electrical system wouldn’t accept them anyway, but I can not fault these. I can change the colours, the brightness and I can control them from anywhere and best of all I can control them with Alexa. Plus they last a lot longer than disposable bulbs and with them being LED they’ll not only be better for the environment but also brighter and better quality light too. Amazing purchase. So much so I did my entire house minus the bathroom with them.
