Great Moisturizer
I used this product. It is a very good moisturizer for taking care of your skin and maintaining it supple and reducing the drying, premature aging specially from being out in the sun frequently. I used by leaving it on overnight and when just relaxing at home.I could not detect any fragrance in the product , it suggest to me a greater level of ingredient purity. I think anyone berating this product must have not used it properly or not used it at all. I defininetly recommend it.

Finally a moisturizer that lasts all day!
I stumbled upon this product quite by chance. I don't usually write reviews but decided to write one for this because I think it really made a noticeable difference for me and I wanted to share my experience with others who may have the same needs. I have pretty dry skin (year round but worse in the winter) and most of the regular moisturizers I have tried (Nivea, Jergens etc) that you find in the US supermarkets seem to lose their effect after a few hours. I have tried a few more expensive ones from the Body Shop that work a bit better but you pay a premium for it and they smell quite strong which I don't like as much (at least the ones I tried) ... And with the amount I use, it can get quite expensive :) ... I am now halfway thru my first jar of Sorbolene and I think I have found the perfect balance -- an effective, lightly scented moisturizer that really lasts me throughout the day at a price-point that doesn't hurt! ... I would recommend this to anyone who has moderate to very dry skin and wants a moisturizer that can last throughout the day.I also want to address the review by "Ngthatsme" which talks of the product being runny ... Yes it feels a bit light to the touch but frankly I find that to be benefit not a negative as it is a lot easier to apply than a thick cream and spreads quite evenly without any effort.

It is like milk water
I feel it doesn't soften as well as it says. It is like milk water, very thin. Do not buy, other products out there that are much better!!!

Not up to the Australian sorbolene standards I'm used to
I grew in Australia and now live in New York. Have been on the look out for sorbolene cream here but could never find any. The product I used back in Australia was made by Redwin and I loved it. It moisturized well, smelt very natural and was quite thick/heavy in texture. This product, although it does moisturize to a degree is nothing like the Redwin sorbolene (or any Australian sorbolene I've tried). It's extremely runny. So runny if the tub gets tipped slightly it will actually pour out. It feels watered down almost. Would not buy again.Edited: 3/10/12 - been using this for a few months now. The moisturizer itself is not bad, it moisturizes and doesn't feel too heavy on the skin. I've adjusted my rating from 1 star to 3. I think it's more that I was expecting it to be a thicker cream based on other sorbolene creams I've used.

For the Eczema Kids
My 3 year old has eczema and she really will only tolerate certain creams on her skin, this was not one of them, so I put her in the bath and I use it as a body wash on her, no problems. Once dried off her skin feels great and when combined with her prescription cream we've noticed a clear reduction in her breakouts.

So glad I found this product!
This cream has helped my dry skin so much. It is so mild, I can even use it on my eyelids. I highly recommend this for any reason and to relieve dry skin. It goes on especially well after a shower and keeps skin moisturized for at least two days until I take my next shower (I try not to shower too much because of my dry skin). It helped relieve the itchiness and scaliness of the dry skin I experience in the worst months of northeast winters.
