Belkin RJ45 CAT 5e Snagless Molded Patch Cable (14 Feet, Blue)

This thing is awesome I love this cable it brings in a good strong signal excellent reception and sharp clear images dynamite sound, very well made strong and sturdy, it's even thicker better and heavier than the others I've used. I tested it watching Amazon videos, receiving internet service quality images and the color are top notch. The cable being kinda thick is a nice bonus it's heavier than my others glad I bought 2...I had one with a flap that goes over the tab on the part you plug in, never buy one because in an emergency when you need to pull it out quick the flap gets it the way halting it like it did when a virus was attacking my computer because pulling the plug like I usually do breaks the connection. But this one even plugs in and unplugs way easier then the one with the flap

The only negative thing I have to say about this is that they are not of the greatest quality. The connectors are not snag free and it is possible for the blue outer insulator to slide back after some movement exposing the thin wires. Also, the outer insulator is pretty thin.With these points in mind, the cables work well, I have purchased several of them. If changes were made to correct the issues I described, you could easily expect them to cost 2-3x as much. If you were to wire it and leave it, these are great options, if you are going to use these will work but will leave you wanting better quality.

If you have--or are getting ready to string together-- a network, this cable is the best "glue" to hold your network together.I have never had any problems with any of the Belkin cables that I have purchased and to put it bluntly, they just work!When you string a network together, and go through the hassle of installing your NICs, running cable, and attaching the connectors, the last thing you want is a bad cable.Buy these cables and put these fears to rest. String 'em and forget 'em. They work as your "silent partner" on your network and provide a stress-free network computing environment--at least where the cabling is concerned!(and you thought you couldn't say a lot about an ethernet cable)

I purchased this cable to use to hook my printer up to my router, and it has performed its job perfectly.So far I haven't had any issues with this cable maintaining connection, and the end connections both seem pretty sturdy as well. For the price I think this cable is going to be hard to beat for the job that it performs, way cheaper than trying to get the same thing from Wal-Mart or some other big electronics store.I would gladly recommended this product to anyone that is looking for a good CAT5 cable for a home network.

Exceeded the use for what I needed .... Very good cord for the price .... The "5e" is for extra heavy duty wire gauge.Hooks up in a snap and doesn't come out of the plug unless you need it to....The blue color is just a visual factor for cord ID, witch is good when you have lots of cords together..... The end plug is made with very good quality.... Thanks for sending it to me the way you did, I received it one day before the promised date...

Well, it said Belkin and that's what I buy because it is good cable. But this time I felt it was cheap, like to commercial made in China stuff. It worked, but not what I was expecting in Belkin cable. I will be wondering what I will get the next time I order Belkin cable. Honestly, I felt like this was a knock-off brand with a fake Belkin label. Like one of those Coach bags at the Flea Market.

I'm sticking with Belkin's snagless Ethernet cables. Have used them for years and love the design. Snagless is a must, but some snagless designs are difficult to use, making it nearly impossible to press the release. Belkin's design is superior, easy to use, very effective. I've also never had a Belkin cable go bad, unless it was visibly damaged through abuse/accidents.

I needed a longer Ethernet cable to reach my printer on the other side of the room. This was the right length and it worked without any issues. Production quality is good and the cable will likely last quite a long time as a result. The hood over the retention tab will most likely keep me from accidentally ripping it off when I run more cabling. I've done that to more than one Ethernet cable and appreciate the extra protection the hood adds.
