I don’t understand sarcasm?
I refuse to rate this set of postcard poorly. Though, I’m not sure why.First, they are roughly the size of a normal postcard. I’m happy with that. There is an appropriate spot for the stamp and the address. Again, I’m happy with that. I won’t say I’m unhappy about the quality. The card are sturdy enough, but not near as sturdy as a normal postcard. They are a bit flimsy, but I have seen them on the receiving end and they look fine. I only marked down a star for flimsiness. Now, the presentation was good. I had never seen postcard books before and I scoured the reviews to see f someone explained. Since I couldn’t find that, I’ll explain it. It looks like a kids flip-book. You know, like the ones that have cute little motion figures. There are postcards bound into the book attack and have a little perforated section for you to tear out the postcard. My biggest concern is that the lack of thickness of the cards makes me think it would be easy to tear them, though I haven’t had that issue. Now, when I read the other reviews people commented that the humor wasn’t their style. And my thought was “they just don’t understand sarcasm.” Then I received the cards. I learned I must not understand sarcasm either or more so I don’t understand the authors version of “sarcastic” definitions. This would have been more aptly named “Remotely Funny Definitions of Everyday Things” Overall, I would recommend this book to someone who thinks goofy definitions of every day items are funny. I would not recommend this to someone who really enjoys witty sarcastic remark. For those who are wondering about the content of the cards I’ve added a couple pictures I think I have about 20 different cards posted.

It should be called the official dictionary of nonsense postcards
I wouldn't call these sarcastic so, much as someone who hates their life and just complains about random stuff. I bought these to send weekly to a friend that was deployed thinking the sarcasm might cheer her up but we both just laughed at the ridiculous things on the cards. Example: "Fight: the unfortunate, but sadly unavoidable, side effect of knowing that your idiot partner is the one who's wrong" The picture is an African american couple arguing. "Rhythm" Something possessed by a total of seven white people" I mean, not sarcasm but it gave us something to talk about.

A pretty decent set of humorous postcards.now when they say dictionary - the postcards are a set of 45 different words/concepts with humorous/sarcastic descriptionsas with all sets like this - some are funny and some are mehbut should be good for postcrossing regardlessthe cardstock itself is average - not thick like those 100 card sets but good enoughoverall pretty good

Not sure about the negative reviews. You really need to appreciate good sarcasm, and I think this set of postcards defines it. I've sent all of these and everyone who received the postcards told me they love it!
