Good if you can afford it
I am a huge Soy Sauce user. I cook loads of Asian food and go through 3 or 4 bottles a week. I've been meaning to try Coconut Aminos for ages simply for the health benefits. This purchase was my first experience with it.Taste - It's not exactly like soy sauce... but it's still good. I find the Coconut Aminos taste to be milder (the consistency is also a bit more watery than traditional soy sauce) and yet the taste is somehow more tangy at the same time. What I've been doing is using half Coconut Aminos and half regular Soy Sauce in order to meet somewhere in the middle. I plan to gradually use more and more Aminos as I get used to the taste.Price - Compared to regular Soy Sauce, it's obviously quite high. (However it's rare to find it cheaper anywhere else other than Amazon - I've checked). But, if you can afford it, the health benefits definitely justify this purchase. And if you are someone who uses as much Soy Sauce as me, I suggest finding a balance and mixing the two together or alternating with one or the other depending on the strength of flavour needed for the dish.Overall I will definitely continue using it alongside Soy Sauce, in the hopes of substituting it in as much as possible as a healthier option.

Delicious in its own right
I like this particular coconut amino more than some of the others I've tried. It's not really a soy sauce replacement as it can burn if you cook it high (for example, if you marinate a tuna steak in it, allow the excess amino to drain off and cook your tuna quick!).. but in its own right, this is a fantastic flavour addition. I use it in curries, salad dressings, honey chicken and many other dishes.. (rub it into an almost cooked baked sweet potato for a seriously tasty spud!) it has a sweet yet slightly tart taste.I try to avoid soy a bit more than I used to and this has become a store cupboard staple for me, often imparting an extra flavour of tastiness that people can't put their finger on!I recommend this particular coconut amino, but all tastes vary.. I preferred it over the coconut company brand. As a cooking ingredient it's really useful, imparts good flavour and you don't need very much.

Itβs not soya sauce
This does not give quite the kick of soya sauce but needs must when you canβt eat soya. It is a very reasonable substitute.

Best soy substitute ever tried
By far the best coco amino I've tried so far. Also, less expensive than the others. Like all coco aminos, it loses a bit of flavour when cooked but it does leave a lovely soy sauce-like aftertaste when you have it raw or cold. It is on the vinegary side, especially at first taste, but I can only recommend. I love it.

Really good soy substitute!
I had stopped making Chinese or other dishes which needed soy sauce but this has changed that ! Tastes like soy and enhances the flavour of dishes .

Love it.
I am not able to have normal soy sauce, I was surprised when I tried this the flavour is great, and I think I prefer this now.

Use vinegar instead
I'm not a fan of this sauceIt tastes like a mix of balsamic vinegar with a tiny bit of soy sauce added.I woukd not pay the price for this again. Super disappointed
