ASICSWomen's GT-2000 3 Trail Running Shoe

What a relief! I received my shoes today, and they fit - quite nicely!! They fit my 8 1/2 EE feet just as I expected!! If I seem a bit more enthusiastic than you'd expect from an otherwise rational person, you're right. I get very happy when shoes fit because shoe shopping is usually a horror story for me - I have short, very wide feet with high insteps, slim ankles, narrow heels AND I wear medical orthotics**. There isn't a brick & mortar store within 40 miles that carries shoes in my size. I've made specialty shoe salespeople cry. I spend hours online searching for shoes that fit and don't look like I've stolen them from a 90-year-old nursing home patient. I haven't had actual sports shoes for a couple years. Yes, years. Before I ordered these last week, I had found 2 different shoes on Amazon that seemed like they might work. These ASICS were much better looking and had positive reviews that specifically addressed my foot issues - so I crossed my fingers and ordered. And it looks like I've gotten lucky - they fit well and don't make my feet look huge. They're comfy and not too tight, even with my orthotics**. The tongue and laces adjust to accommodate my high instep, while still allowing the heel to fit snugly. I'm ordering a second pair - hunting down the elusive "shoe that fits" has taught me to go ahead and get more than one pair when I can. (Check my other reviews for another shoe I love and bought twice!) **My only caveat: These aren't very deep, even after removing the insole; the shape and thickness of your orthotics will make a big difference in the fit of this shoe. My orthotics aren't much thicker than the original, relatively thin insole. They're mainly arch support, so they don't extend all the way under the ball of my foot. Depending on the thickness and shape of your orthotics, YMMV. Happy shoe hunting!

The first ones I got were too short from the toes to heel and my last sneakers (NIKE) were 8s so I had to return them and I got 8.5 2E because they also felt kind of tight width too. So maybe they run a little small and narrow and you should get a half a size up. I loved how I could return them free to amazon and they replaced my 8s with the 8.5 :)I'm flatfooted so that is why I even ordered this style and they feel great now that I got the correct size. I would definitely recommend these for flat footed people. I loved them so much I actually ordered a second pair so that I can alternate them each day.My only regret is that in my size and width I could only choose from 1 color and I would've loved to have my second pair be in a different color but I'll take comfort over style I guess in the end.I walk about 6 miles a day in them and so far they feel pretty good still waiting for my second pair to arrive :)

So comfortable! Best pair of running shoes I have ever owned.I wore them to my workout today. I hated running because somehow it always hurt my feet. This is my first pair of asics and my feet didn't at all during my run!!The only con is it gave me a blister on my left heel. Thicker socks should do the trick.Overall I'm so happy with my new asics!

I was trying to buy a different color of the exact shoe that I had previously bought in person, tried on and instantly loved in the store. These feel more narrow and not much room in the shoe bed. They are long enough for my size 7, but just a bit too snug. I decided to keep them, thinking I could break them in, but they're holding their form pretty well. I should have returned them when they were new.

I have narrow feet AND I pronate when I run. I normally run for about 3 miles in one jog for an average of three times a week, so I have to get a new pair of kicks every 6 months :(Fortunately, when I got fitted at Fleet Feet, they recommended this and another pair in a different brand. As usual, not very many shoes for pro-naters come in cool or desirable colors (I despise pink), and when they fitted me, all they had were the pink ones.So I tried on the more cool colors in different brands, desperately hoping that I could find a better fitting shoe in a better style, but to this GT-2000-3 loved my feet better than I loved it's flair.They felt so good that I sat down in defeat and searched eBay and Amazon for prices. It was then when I discovered that not only was Amazon listing the best price ($10+ less than everyone else) but they also had this gorgeous blue color!It was a though I had hit the lotto. Containing my excitement at the shoe store, I purchased a bra instead and thank goodness I was a passenger on the ride home because I couldn't purchase these pretty babies fast enough!So fast-forward two months later, I am still SO IN LOVE with my lovely blue Asics and I get compliments from people of all walks of life, age and creed.I hope that Asics continues making colors for women who don't have any pink in their closet.And if they don't, I will continue to keep purchasing this exact model every six months until they sell out indefinitely.Edit 1/14/2016: Had to change from 5-star to a 4-star because after two months, the balls of my feet began to ache, so I stopped wearing heals and continued to train mildly in this shoe, then the pain went away and now I can wear my heals again. I don't know what that was about, but I read other people experienced the same. I didn't give up on these and everything is now back to normal, so I may have built up resistance to whatever the root of that issue was.

I rarely write reviews, but I am so delighted with these asics sneakers that I have recently purchased 4 pairs. They are amazing. I have had trouble for years finding shoes that fit my wide, over pronating feet, and also did not aggravate my low back problems. These are it! They offer perfect comfort for my feet and back. Soft, but supportive. I can wear them all day. Thank-you, ASICS! Just one request - please make more colors and styles in women's 2E width.

I like them very much perfect size, color and keep my feet very balanced when I run.
