Lift Master garage door opener
Works well, installed easily after viewing some You Tube videos on installation. Wall mount opener did not work. I used original wires of older (1998) Lift Master which were old phone wires. However, I used an extra remote previously owned to act as the wall mount and after programming worked just fine. This unit is a 1/2 horsepower which should last just as long.

A reasonably priced upgrade to an old unit
I had to replace an old LiftMaster unit for one of my 2 garage doors. I had repaced the LiftMaster opener on the other door 3 years ago with the dame LiftMaster model, since discontinued. I got this newer model so I could keep the rail and sensors (at the bottom sided) of the existing opener. Note the new one comes with new sensors and wires. The physical dimensions of the new model are almost the same as the old unit but with better light cover and back side connections. The new garage wall switch is better and provides buttons to connect family phones using the myQ app. In an hour we installed the new opener to the existing top rail and ceiling brackets, wall switch and the old sensors worked with the new opener. So I saved time and installation steps by staying with the same manufacturer. And the new wifi connectivity supports connection by all family members phones using the myQ app. Note our wifi network only allows connection by registered MAC address devices so others could not open the door by capturing or randomly guessing a connection ID.

Worked
Replaced the 2nd of my 20 year old openers with this one The first one was replaced 5 years ago, also with this model. No issues reportable, other than the incorrect instructions that don't mention that you must set both an upper and lower limit, otherwise you can program remotes all you want, the door will not open. When I replaced the first motor, I was apprehensive about the need for an online account for the app. I finally went ahead and installed it on my phone. Now I don't want to miss the ability to open and close the garage from my motorcycle or while traveling abroad, or when you drive away and you are not sure if you closed the garage. A quick check on the app and you can confirm, or, if you did forget, close it without having the turn back.

Received the product was not able to put it up rate away! When I did get it installed had a lot of problems getting it going’ was straight forward to install after problem solving I found out it was the logistic board or also known as the mother board was faulty! Contract the supplier they said your past the return date nothing we can do! Wow really disappointed $450 bucks out the door!
