Afro 4abc low porosity hair. This product is very high functioning in smoothing hair and blocking humidity stopping frizz. It's light weight so no noticeable buildup. Has a liquid/gel consistency. A little goes a long way. Gel hold without crunch.Really pleased with purchase.

I bought this after a recommendation from a YouTube video. I would say it is excellent for naturally curly hair, though not so much if your hair is wavy. I used just a small amount on my wavy hair and it gave it a nice finish and a good diffused curl to begin with, but the curls fell out after 12 hours and left just my slight natural wave pattern with a nice gloss and body, so did not give enough hold for the curls to stay in. I tried using more and it left my hair feeling stiff and nasty. So I would not recommend this for wavy hair, unless you don’t want curl and are happy with just your natural wave pattern. This is my experience and I felt I wasted quite a bit of money on it. As for the anti frizz claims, I did not have it on long enough to test this.

At least I haven't found a better one. All other products leave some sort of build-up but with this I'm in control. If I want a wet look I'll just not crunch, if I want a fluffier natural looking hair I can crunch it out - still has a hold but no one can tell I have used any product.

I have wavy, low porosity hair and I’m not sure this gel is for me. It’s never formed a proper cast and has quite a light hold, causing my hair to become frizzy quite quickly and my waves to drop down. Although it’s always felt very lightweight and doesn’t weigh down my hair, its light hold it isn’t effective at defining my waves at all. I usually air dry my hair after using this gel, but when I diffuse I get quite similar results. This gel may be suited to people with more defined, tight curls that don’t need much hold.

Creates amazing curls with little to no frizz when used with a curl brush/comb. Hair isn’t crunchy and feels silky. A must have for curly hair folk.

I really like this product as someone new to "curly girl" methods. This keeps the frizz down and helps curls to clump together with no heaviness. Recommend. (I have 2C curls/waves)

Lo he probado hoy y me encanta como me ha dejado el cabello. Me re activa los rizos, me lo deja suave, brilloso y sin apelmazar. Con tan solo te pongas un poco nada más en la mano, te lo deja súper bonito. Es caro y no trae mucho la verdad, el bote es algo pequeño pero vale la pena cada euro que me he gastado en este producto. Además de que me lo deja efecto mojado que es mi look preferido. Realmente lo volveré a comprar y además de que probaré otros productos de esta marca. Estoy muy muy satisfecho. Hacia mucho tiempo que buscaba un producto que me dejara el efecto mojado, sin apelmazar y nada de volumen ya que odio el volumen porque tengo mucho frizz y poroso y este producto me lo deja de maravilla!!! P.S. lo he probado un día con muchísima humedad y me lo ha dejado estupendo. Es importante aclarar esto porque los productos que son anti frizz y anti humedad deben ponerse a prueba un día de mucha humedad para saber si el producto realmente sirve.

I live in one of the most humid countries ever and have been hearing a lot about this gel. Based on my experience the gel does a great job at casting and protecting the hair . I was only disappointed that there is very minimal hold, my curls looked very loose and that’s Something I personally value a lot. I tried to add more gel thinking I didn’t use enough but that just wasn’t the case for me nothing changed . I want to point out that I didn’t use any other product from the same brand with this gel . That might play a role in my experience as I just used another curl cream following by the ouidad gel . Overall it’s a decent gel does the job however I just wish it had way more hold considering how pricy it is .
