Great dual band antenna
Sturdily made and acceptable SWR on 2 meter and 70 CM. Using with magnetic mount on roof of my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Great reception and transmission to area repeaters.

seems good but we'll see
So far it seems to be a pretty decent antenna. Haven't had it long enough to give it a real workout. I did however check SWR and right out of the box on 146.52 it didn't even flicker the needle and on 430 Mhz it was nearly the same it barely moved. If I find out anymore about this product I will add to this review.

Seems like a well made antenna, performs well
Out of the box it delivers an acceptable SWR on 2M and 70cm. Good reports, even using it sometimes stuck to a steel smoker on the porch to talk on a repeater some 70 miles away.

Tuning was perfect out of the package- my SWR was 1.5 on my pick up.

Great Antenna, missing set screws
Great antenna. Only one cut and was able to obtain a 1:1 SWR on 145.500, and stays low on both ends of the 2m band. I would have given a better rating, but the set screws were missing. I called Amazon, they sent another antenna. The second antenna also had a broken package and was missing the set screws ..... Had to go to Fastenal and find the right screws.

Not a good antenna
Well I tried using it on 400-435mhz and it didn't work out. The Nagoya UT-308UV actually out did this antenna and its ideal 420-470mhz where this one is supposed to be 400-480mhz I believe. I was trying to talk to my dad using this one and could not but he swapped over to the UT-308UV antenna and boom we could communicate. I don't recommend this antenna.

dont buy this,,junk! .it does not work well on the ham band at all,,,,
dont buy this you are waisting your money,,,it does not work .its NOT a dual band,,no performanceits a 1/4 wave with a little more gain thats all
