InPlace Shelving191408 35.4 in W x 10.2 in D x 2 in H, White 0191408 Floating Wall Shelf with Invisible Brackets

I ordered the 35.4” shelf pair (in white) to place above my toilet. I previously used an over-the-toilet rack system, but I wanted a cleaner look. These shelves were inexpensive, lightweight and extremely easy to mount. (I am a 61 yr old woman, but have some basic handyman skills.) Note, due to the light weight (these shelves are hollow, not solid), there is a weight limit of 15 lbs for each shelf. This is sufficient for the items that I am storing on them. The only negative is the mounting holes on the underside of each shelf. I plan to cover the holes with white plugs.

It was very easy to install, but my shelf droops down a little (making me question how it will hold up over time).

1: Use your own anchor kit, try to use #10 screws. If you don't go into a stud, use all 7 holes, don't cheap out.2: The metal bracket with its rods are not perpendicular, they go out on an angle, in my case upwards, so I used washers behind the brackets top screw holes to shim it. All 4 are perfect now.3: One of the four shelfs I got had a different bracket. It was wider and had different mounting holes. If you are like me you use one bracket and lay everything out and set the anchors etc. Well be careful.

A nice practical shelf, but I had to return it, because it was damaged.

I actually got these back in Jan forgot to review... this pic isn't the greatest, but the shelves are used for a display wall.The install is super easy! The shelves are hollowed out, so be careful not to step on them or something like that. Packaging comes with foam to keep them from damage.I also got the wallpaper and hooks from Amazon as well. Love the floating shelf look, mounting system does not show it all

Unfortunately, only one stud can be screwed into because of the the length of the mounting plate. Drywall anchors are used in the other mounting holes, which limits the weight the shelve will hold.I decided to use an angle bracket to be safe. However that defeats the reason for using a floating shelve.

The shelves are sleek, modern and seem sturdy. The white finish is matte and evenly applied. The only issue we had was the cheap plastic anchors they came with. We used some metal hollow wall anchors we had on hand to install the shelves to the wall along with anchoring the middle in a wall stud.

It arrived quickly and was well packaged. Fairly quick and easy to install.
