Doesn't matter if you are a beginner or Bob Dylan. It's an adjustable guitar strap, so suitable for kids, teenagers or adults. Leaves both hands free for playing, so can play standing rather than sitting if that's what you prefer.

What material is the guitar strap made of? Will you feel any discomfort after wearing it?

Embroidered cotton I think. Its reasonably soft and very comfortable to wear. I bought a second for my silent guitar.
