Satinelle Essential Corded Epilator with 5 Attachments - BRE285/00

Used thisn2 weeks ago on my legs and they're still relatively hair free. Bought as going on holiday and can't be bothered shaving every day so thought I'd give this a go. It's not painful but it is uncomfortable until you get used to it (after about 5 mins it's ok). Had to give my legs a good couple of goes as I hadn't shaved for a good few weeks. The machine got to work and left my legs very smooth indeed. Like I say the hair is just starting to come through again, but you can't really see it. Never going to need razors again, no more shaving rash or nicks. Wish I'd gotten one years ago. Not tried on underarms or down there yet, not quite that brave yet 🤣

My daughter was raving about these. I remember them first coming on sale and people being less than impressed so I needed some convincing. I've done my own waxing for 20 years so it was a big leap. I bought corded because I always feel the power is better than battery but I suspect it makes no difference. It is fantastic. No more heating wax up. If you miss some just go back over. Not convinced the light is of any help, I prefer to do in bright daylight snyway. It prickles as the hairs come out I would say this might hurt a bit for someone very hairy but for me it's just fine. It works a treat, is beyond convenient and it's my new favourite thing

I have think black leg hairs which leads to 'strawberry legs'/stubble when shaving. Used the epilator on very short hairs (<0.5mm) and it plucked them all out, follicles were flying in every direction. I have actually never seen my legs so smooth, I'm very impressed. I spend hours and hours looking for which epilator to get. You won't go wrong with this one and price is decent.

Feel a bit weird saying that is as good as the old ones, but, I used to have one that my mum gave to me ageees ago. It was so nice and sturdy, but sadly it finally broke. This one is pretty much the same but an improved, modern version. The light in the front of it makes it so easy to spot any hairs and the multiple method heads are just really handy. Also, very powerful! Very happy with it, great value for money

It's useless, it doesn't pull out a single hair, big or small, it's useless, I've tried several times

It is easy to use and is not painful, it will need several treatments but works from the first use, well worth the price and cheaper and more convenient than a salon

acheter pour remplacer un épilateur que mon épouse utilisait depuis plus de 10 ans, elle en est très satisfaite. Attention celui que j'ai reçu avait une prise anglaise, j'ai retiré une étoile pour cela ... donc j'ai conservé l'alimentation du précèdent

I have never returned a product, but unfortunately, this has to be returned and will remain one of the worst products I have purchased. This epilator was frustrating to use from the very beginning. The protective cap kept coming off with almost every slide, making the process inconvenient and uncomfortable. Even worse, it took several passes to remove hair in one area and even then, it failed to pick up thinner hairs. The result was far from the smooth, flawless finish I was hoping for. I expected more precision and reliability from a brand like Philips. Sadly, this product falls short in both design and performance. BTW I also bought the facial hair removal 5000 series and returning both.
