It works!
This battery replaced the one in my battery back up surge protector. Exact match, perfect fit. It’s been a month and no issues, works great. Saved me from having to buy a completely new surge protector.

Functions Well
Product was exactly as described, easy to insert into my Universal Power Supply (UPS) battery back-up, and is functioning perfectly. As long as batteries are working, we typically don’t even think about them, right? Haven’t thought about this one since the day I installed it…except when the power goes out! I would highly recommend this product for its reliability, dependability, and ease of use.

Great battery, but hard to find return/recycle option
This battery brought back to life an old APC UPS (BK300C) which sat unused due to a dead battery for many years but now can power a few small computer items through outages. We contemplated if we wanted to buy this battery or a generic battery which claimed to be the same specs. Then we started reading the reviews of both products. The OTHER battery brand had reports of some units melting or failing after a short time period which made us concerned. Then we also noticed this battery was the same weight as the original battery -- whereas the other battery we considered was half the weight. This battery also had the small clear plastic cover over the positive terminal to help ensure no shorting of the terminals inside the UPS, but the other battery didn't picture that either (so if we went with the generic we'd need to reuse the one off the old battery). All things considered the small amount more we spent on this battery seemed worth avoiding the risk of the other battery brand. I checked the battery before installing and it was fully or near fully charged (it didn't appear to have sat and drained for a long time on a shelf which is reassuring). Also, this battery advertised that it came with a free recycling option for the old battery -- which we had a bit of problems locating, but was easy to use once we found it. In the package was a piece of paper which had an address for the APC website (...) which had problems loading - the page was all garbled and the page feedback survey which appeared returned an error that the survey wasn't active. I then searched the web for APC battery recycling and found a page (...). But in the body of that page it listed large bold options such as trade ups or buying a new battery, but nothing about recycling or printing a label. In fact most of the "recycling options" on this page were focused on how APC can recycle me as a customer to sell me more APC products, not how I can recycle my battery. In my searching I found another page which let me enter my zip code and it listed recycling locations near me, but again no label option. The top of the recycling page talks about battery recycling and selecting my country (from a non-existing list) to see options then it goes in to the sales pitch options for buying a new unit. It seems like someone merged (poorly) two different webpages in to this one page. On my second or third visit to the page and finding a different link/URL to this same page in another amazon review I located buried in the text blurb at the top of the page (above the bold numbered list of recycle options) a link to a page which lets you print a return label. Although the webpage is titled recycling options it is far from focused on that. Once I found that, I simply put the old battery in the small (inner product/non-amazon) box which the new battery came in, taped it closed and put the label on the box and dropped it off at UPS. Super easy -- once I found the page to print the label, which wasn't at the address listed in the enclosed documentation found in the box.The battery gets 5 stars. Rating 4 stars because of the poor design of the recycling program webpages although multiple reviews have complained about this issue it remains not fixed.

Surprise!
These batteries last anywhere from 2 to 4 years. I have Two APC 500 back ups. I've been buying these for years but this time I removed the APC label and surprise!! Its an aftermarket Vision Battery CP 1270. APC buys some battery and sticks there label on it, Shame on me for not looking sooner.

APC UPS Battery Replacement, RBC2, for APC Back-UPS Models BE500R, BK300C, BK350, BK50
Very easy to install. Just put in a month ago will see how long it holds up. The tabs fit perfectly unlike some off brands which can be narrower or wider. A tb make it easier to pull out to replace. Off brands don't have this feature

Good replacement for worn out UPS battery
One day we were greeted by a beeping noise from our APS BE500R UPS. I was not sure when the last time I replaced the battery in it so I guessed that the beeping was because the battery was old and no longer taking a charge. The last time I replaced the battery it was with a third party (non-APC) battery. I was pleased to find Amazon had APC branded batteries that were within a few dollars of the third party batteries. Years ago the APC batteries cost about twice the price of the third party batteries. Also, this battery has the correct width terminals for our UPS compared to the slightly narrower terminals of the previous battery. After installing the new battery and letting it charge for a day I plugged the computer into battery backup outlet of the UPS and no more beeping. I can't tell yet what the battery life will be but I would expect it will last me at least as long as the last battery. One thing I did this time was put a note on the battery cover of the UPS indicating the date I installed the new battery. I wish I had done that last time so I could have known how long that bettery lasted. Anyway, I'm glad this battery fixed the beeping and that it wasn't a problem with the UPS itself. Happy with this purchase.

Replacement Battery Works As It Should
There's not a heck of a lot to say about this replacement battery. It is, or at least appears to be made by APC, which was important to me. I unpacked it, installed it in my APC UPS that had a battery that had long since died, and now the UPS is working again. It definitely makes sense to purchase a replacement battery as opposed to purchasing an entire new UPS. In my case this battery was less than half the price of what the same model new UPS would have cost.If for any reason this replacement battery doesn't have the longevity I expect that it will I will come back and update this review, but I do not anticipate having any problems.I hope you found this review helpful. On the other hand, if you did not find this review helpful, I’d be interested in hearing why, so that I can attempt to edit it and make it more helpful to both you and others. If you leave a comment on the review, suggesting how it would be more helpful, I promise to respond to your comment, and to attempt to incorporate your suggestion in my review, if it is at all possible for me to do so.
