Fast? Yeah it’s fast!
This is my first Mac (after my first IPhone).Great resolution on monitor, less than 20 second boot up time, no crashes and easy to use.I got this because of Apples reputation and I’m not disappointed.I’m not going to get into all the specs. You can research that yourself. I will tell you it is so much better than all the HP’s and Sony VIO’s I’ve had in the past. I’m not a gammer or a heavy video editor. For every day use you will be extremely pleased with this computer!

Excellent new iMac core i5 8th gen 6 core
ordered the 3.0Ghz which was confusing due to the headline saying quad core and the description saying 6 core (latest model). So I looked up the UPC and received the true specs. When it arrived it was just as expected. 8th gen 6 core intel i5 with 1TB Fusion drive combining the fast start up speed of SSD with the storage capacity of the HD. Set up was quick and easy with Time Machine backup of previous iMac. All in all a great purchase with quick delivery and brand new in the box. Thank you Amazon!

Plenty big, takes moments to get going!
Very pleased with the 21.5 in IMAC. This is the second one in our home. Looks sharp, screen is so much bigger and brighter than previous laptop. Setup was a snap, took moments. Only deficit is lack of a number pad on the keyboard.

Mac
I love Apple products but I am very disappointed in this product. It works great and my complaint is, for the price, the RAM needs to be doubled. It is slow compared to my old Mac Mini which had 16 GB of Ram and was over 8 years old. The ability to do multiple things, even just on the web, can be maddening. That is the one thing about Apple that ticks me off. Nickle and diming you and for this model of iMac, unlike older models, you can't just put RAM in yourself. The computer has to be taken apart and it really needs to be done by an Apple licensed dealer. That will cost you an extra $400-500 for an additional 16 GB of RAM.Other than that, which is my own fault for not researching, I love this product. Everything just works together, iPhone, iPad, etc. and the handoff feature is a great selling point. So, if you want an iMac, do the research. Unless you want to pay a few hundred extra up front for the extra RAM, be aware of what model is easiest to have extra RAM installed. This product with just 8 GB of RAM is not nearly enough for todays user.

Beautiful color and screen
Really impressed by the visual appeal. Pictures are beautiful. I have an adjustment, having used a PC for almost 20 years. Some things that I try to do don't work the way instructions say, so I do without. I bought speakers so that the sound will come toward me instead of away from me. I'm happy.

Read the rest of the reviews! Get the version with the fusion drive.
I originally got the cheaper version because I didn't fully understand the difference between the computing powers of the two versions. I read the reviews as I was waiting and was so grateful I did because the cheaper version is basically a 2007 comp with near obsolete specs in a shiny package. So I returned it and got the better version and couldn't be happier with it.

Don't buy. RAM is NOT Upgradable
Unless you get 16GB of RAM installed, this computer should be avoided.I bought one with 8GB and this machine is only marginally faster than my 2009 edition iMac. The OS takes up 3-4 GB of RAM and once you open a web browser or email, anything else you do will bring up Apple's spinning disk of death at the drop of a hat. The act of copying and pasting is time intensive on this computer.I'm constantly having to use Clean My Mac to free up RAM, just to keep this thing operating at a semi-tolerable speed. To make things WORSE, you cannot upgrade the RAM. You can't do it yourself. Geek Squad can't do it. Apple Store Genius Bar also can't do it. The computer is sealed so you cannot update this at all. It has to be sent to a service center to have the RAM upgraded. That's ridiculous. But to make up for that Apple is very pleased with the thinness of the design. Which is great, because you'll have LOTS of time to stand off to the side of this computer and admire its thinness, the Spinning Disk of Death is on your screen. The user can update the RAM on all other iMacs. There are 4 slots for memory that are easily accessbile. Buy one of those. DO NOT BUY THIS ONE. I'd love to have my money back on this things....even if it's thinness is oh-so-aesthetically pleasing. I much rather have a functional machine that meets my computing needs. This is not that.

This is a High Quality machine
The 21.5-in iMac is a great desktop with good processing power and a TB of storage. it has all the capabilities you would expect from Apple tech. I added MS O365 and now everything I may need for work or business is seamlessly integrated
