Great cap for those in-between temps when silicone isn't quite enough (and two silicone caps are too tight) and neoprene too warm. A little looser than I'd like - sometimes feels like it's slipping off. I like to wear my goggle strap under my cap, but with this one I often opt to wear it outside to hold the cap on better. Great visible color!UPDATE: I bought a new one. My original was losing elasticity and the color had faded somewhat. Longer lasting than most caps. New one is nice and snug. I use it most of the season except when wearing a neoprene cap. Recently wore for a 2+ mile bay swim in near 80°F water with sleeveless wetsuit. I did NOT overheat, but I did appreciate cold water patches more than usual. Cap was comfortable the whole time with little slippage, covered my ears and earplugs well and sat nicely around my goggles. I’m sure to buy another in 2-3 years when it’s time to replace this one. Upgraded from 4 stars to 5.

When I first purchased this, I thought the hi-vis and 'warm' selling points were a bit of a gimmick. But I gotta say, this cap has delivered in spades. Its fit is very snug, but thats what I want especially on a really rough day. I can pull it over my earholes to keep my plugs in place. Second, it is definitely warmer than the standard silicone. I've swum in the low-50s with this, and I can't say I'd opt for a bulky neoprene at those temps. third, the hi-vis color gives me peace of mind which is priceless. People on the beach know me by my 'green hat' and I like to be seen in case of emergency. Finally, the material doesnt attract sand like the silicone caps do. this is a really nice feature, i feel it's purpose-built for OWS at the beach.

Inside is fabric, outside is some kind of rubbery material. It's very thin and not bulky at all, more like a lycra cap but water doesn't pass through it. Although the band is the perfect tightness for my 57cm head, the cap is a little too big so I have some loose material at the top of my head, which ripples annoyingly at high speeds. It's more comfortable than a silicone cap, and more durable than a lycra cap.I use it for open-water ocean swimming in tropical water (22 deg. C). The hi-visibility color is very bright and excellent. It has never caused me to overheat, but it does provide some warmth by way of the water trapped under it, kind of like the warm water in your wetsuit, but without the insulation.

I am unsure I'd this was supposed to be a junior size but I am 5'6" with medium length hair. The band was headache tight on my head and the top small enough that it keeps sliding up in my head mid swim. The quality of the fabric is nice and the thickness is appropriate.

Comfortable. Sizing is good. Able to wears earbuds underneath and listen to music.

when the cap arrived I was skeptical of how well it would work. it was a very tight fit. and also not that thick. but, I find that the tight fit kept water out which was a huge benefit in keeping me warm.

Although it arrived a little later than expected it was worth waiting for. I bought it for keeping my hair protected from the sea and sun whilst swimming, and also for the bright colour so I can be seen (safety aspect). It does all I intended it to. It’s also a good fit, I have a larger than average head for a lady!

Just love this cap. Fits snug but easy to put on without pulling at your hair. And adds a little bit of warmth too for long lap swims in a chilly pool. The color is vivid, yes, but compared to the comfort of this cap who cares!

Keeps my head warm. Does not snag my hair. Easy to put on.
