Injen TechnologyX-1037RED Red Hydro-Shield Pre-Filter

I have vents in my hood and would get nervous when it downpours while I’m driving. I keep it in my glove box so I can just throw it on when it starts to rain while I’m out. Gives me that extra piece of mind. I really don’t notice any power loss but then again I’m not exactly racing or driving fast in the rain anyway.

I have no worries now going through puddles ! It helps to give you peace of mind that you won't suck in water if you have a cold air intake that is super low to the ground.

Had this on for a couple weeks now. Gone through lots of rain and high pressure car washes. It works great keeping the filter dry. I have a cold air intake into the fender well on a 2003 Regal GS. Great product.

I got this Great Product because its gonna save my car if I drive it right. Before I had this I thought I was gonna be safe and not have to worry about my after market Air intake for my Kia Optima. and in the end I messed up.... I live in a place where it Has all 4 seasons and with my aftermarket air intake closer to the ground and getting cold air away from the engine bay. it gets a little splashed and gets dirty easily.One time I was driving with my girl friend, and we got caught in a storm that had record rain fall in the short time it was there. and they streets were flooding and i was keeping an eye out but as hard as I tried I was still able to get a bunch of mud splashed up onto my Air intake, and it made it all dirty and lucky for me i was able to change the filter before it took a ride into the engine. PHEW!!But with this Hydro shield i feel Much more at Peace!Great Shipping too! very very fast!this fitted the Spectre air filter that i got from Auto zone.

Works as advertised.. might not work if you are driving in a flooded area with the cold air intake hanging low near the grill but works great for my genesis coupe 3.8

If you have a true cold air intake like mine in my G35 it sits very low behind the front bumper under headlight. Yout splash guard on the car keeps it contained but I live in Florida and I needed that extra protection from all that water ftom the storms. This product IS GREAT, I suggest you watch the YouTube videos, they show you how it works by pouring water onto the Hydro shield and no water penetrates.
