Creamy Butterscotch Hard Candy Drops | 6 Ounce Tin

First time trying Cavendish & Harvey candy and I really like it!! It's so rich, creamy & buttery.

For starters, in the US, it is unexplainably difficult to find butterscotch candies that don't have dye unless they're the sugar free version, so the price for these imported candies, especially considering the current tariff situation, is understandable. That having been said, they are very tasty, I love that they're sealed and the tin they come in is very nice. If you're like me and you want good quality regular butterscotch without the unnecessary dyes, treat yourself to these. You deserve it.

Simply the best. I have no self control around these. They don’t last long at all since I go through them so quickly. You can taste the quality of ingredients. I have lurched these many times over. Price is high, yes. I just close my eyes and hit the “re-order” button and choose to accept this guilty pleasure.during a recent trip to England, was able to find these for less than half the price (factoring in the currency conversion.

At first, I gave this a one-star review, finding when I opened the container that the flavor starts out butterscotch-y, but a minute later, tastes like some chemical. But after a few hours, I noticed the taste wasn't as bad. I removed the candies from their metal container and put them in a ceramic dish, and found they actually taste pretty good. So now I'm giving it four stars. It's somewhat expensive, and I hadn't really expected a hard candy. But it doesn't taste bad after you air it out. I wonder what the finish on the metal container is made from.

These are absolutely the gold standard of butterscotch candy. My wife keeps taking them so I need to reorder. So delicious.

I got this flavor because I love this brand of candy, and I always get their fruit drops. When I saw they had a butterscotch, I was so excited because butterscotch is literally my FAVORITE candy. However, I was so upset because these were just NOT good. Don't get me wrong, when you eat it at first, it takes wonderful. Just like a butterscotch should be, but as you eat it, i's starts to have a really strange flavor, almost like soap or a cleaning chemical. I kept hoping it was a mistake, so I continued to eat it. The weird taste comes and goes, but overall, I ended up spitting it out. I let my kids try it and I tried a couple more pieces, but we all said the same thing. I don't know if it as a bad batch, but it was very bad and overwhelming. We all spit them out and unfortunately we won't eat the rest. I wasted my money buying something we won't eat, so in my opinion it wasn't worth buying. It makes me really sad because I love their fruit drops, but the butterscotch one is just... not it.

Honestly, I bought these for the tin and because I’m a young person who like old lady things. A little bit retro I guess. I was a bonus that they tasted good! Think I might collect all the tins and try them all out!
