great movie

This is an award-winning masterpiece by Yash Chopra. It is one of the best movies ever made. The story was way ahead of its time & although it was not accepted by masses, the acting, music and direction was excellent. Must watch.

Beautiful love story about a young man who falls in love with a woman who lives someone else. She doesn't know this so she considers him a friend. But then she dies because of an accident but not before giving birth to her husband's child. The husband also died in the same accident before she gave birth so the child is brought up in his house in India but he goes back to London the girl grows up and fall in love with the young man who is now in his forties but he still love her mother who never loved him after many trials the young woman wins his heart and they live happily ever after

This Sridevi's movie has so many layers and complexities but still simply narrated by the legend Yash Chopra.Sridevi lived both characters with ease. The audience can feel her rage, her pain, her love for her "Kuwar Ji" :)

My all time favorite. Nostalgic and fun filled

I love this beautiful tender love story, and the Music is enchanting, the Actors are special, and make this story seem so real, I am so glad that I bought it, if you like old fashioned Indian love stories then this is the DVD for you

Worth watching it for Anil Kapoor's dual roles - as the younger Kunwar and as the elder Kunwarji.Sridevi shows her versatility as usual.

A unique love story which beautifully portrays how love conquers all.... age gap, class gap! Amazing actors, fantastic script and classic YashRaj lovestory!
