We purchased this for the bathroom in our home and it works well - the 1.58 is the perfect size in my opinion. As far as material quality I rated it 5 starts. The trash can is easy to clean - I typically wipe it down with water or glass cleaner which leaves it clean with no spots or streaks. The trash can is soft/slow-close - doesn’t bother us any and make any noise. i recommended.
