Fruits Basket Another, Vol. 1

The core plot is just a re-tread of themes explored in the original (socially awkward, insecure girl taken under the wing of an ever-growing party of handsome strangers) but it's done well, the humour is great and it was compelling enough for me to order the other two volumes as soon as I finished reading.The main reason to read it, though, is for the satisfaction of confirming if the Sohma couples (at least those revealed so far) panned out and had kids, what side-characters ended up doing, and the occasional references to the old characters (particularly, one now notorious uncle).In short, I'd describe it as wholesome fan service and worth reading if you're happy with more of the same.

Although the Story is nice it lacks the magic the orginal Fruits Basket had. I felt the characters where too much of a copy of their parents and didn't bring their own personality with them.The book I got was badly printed which made it so much harder to enjoy the story or even read it in some parts.I got it for a Christmas present and am only now reading it so I can not return it for another copy either

Beautiful Artwork, pages are clear to read and see.Only given 3 stars due to the minor damage on the cover. I assume this happened when being packaged.Thankfully, the damage isnt more noticeable.

Loved every moment of it. Just a shame its not the same size as the old Fruits Basket mangas, but brilliant never the less

Ótimo formato, página grande e folha grossa. A história é maravilhosa, como se espera da Natsuki Takaya. Você vem pra saber mais sobre a nova geração e fica pela Mitoma Sawa, uma personagem principal completamente diferente da Honda Tohru, mas tão cativante quanto. Recomendo tanta essa quanto a série original.
