Walker Quiet-Flow SS 21054 Direct Fit Exhaust Muffler 3" Inlet (ID) 3" Outlet (ID) for Dodge Ram 2500

This is my second one of these mufflers. The first I put on a 500hp 6.0ls powered Tahoe with long tube headers no cats, a vibrant ultra quiet on each bank, then electric cutouts when I want it loud. After the cutouts it merges the dual 3” down pipes into a single 3” y pipe and leads straight to this muffler then out the back. In the truck with the cutouts closed it’s essentially quiet as stock, even at WOT the exhaust note is very quiet with this muffler and the dual vibrant ultra quiet’s and that’s what I wanted for towing long distances on the highway. This muffler has been in this Tahoe for close to 4 years now and still looks and sounds new, despite lots of 7,000rpm clutch dumps. The second of these mufflers I just recently bought and installed on my 1996 k2500 with a basically stock 5.7l small block. That truck has stock manifolds but no cats and dual 3” y pipe into a single 3” which leads to this muffler and out the back. Without having the dual resonators like my Tahoe has there is a distinct muscle car kind of idle note when you stand back at the exhaust exit. It’s almost like a low growl that lets you know there’s a nice healthy V8 under the hood. I side the truck it’s basically as quiet as stock maybe 1-2 decibels louder than stock but the ac blower motor is louder as is the engine noise itself. It’s exactly what I wanted with this truck because it tows a lot and I again didn’t want it screaming at me on the highway with a heavy load. To sum it up these mufflers are very quiet and if that’s what you’re looking for you’ve found it. I tried half a dozen other combos on my Tahoe and were disappointed every time with either drone or some weird note that drove me nuts. I will absolutely buy these again!

Love this muffler! Returned performance, almost silent.

Seemed like every time I fixed the exhaust system my Nissan Titan kept getting louder. First it was the exhaust manifolds cracked as many have. I wanted to keep the truck a while and didn't want them to crack again so on went the JBA long tube headers. Then I had to do the b-pipes, and after that the rest of the exhaust. Every time it got louder and louder. I already had a resonator but the cab was still too loud. Not the case after installing this walker SS muffler. It was 6" longer than my performance muffler but a bit lighter. I gotta say it is weird, feeling the truck pull hard and with the AC and stereo I can barely hear the engine. Sure people dont jump or turn around when I start her up but that is OK. I was looking for a well priced, stainless 3" in/ out quiet muffler and this was exactly what I wanted.

Fits 95 c1500 single cab.( 3" exhaust) The fitment required the muffler to be slightly tilted because the clearance to the drive shaft was only 1". The muffler has a flow direction and the 3 inch offset end is the cat side (inlet). I did not see this in the product image or description. This was not ideal but it worked and is quiet. I would have preferred the cat side to be centered for proper clearance and mounting angle but the astetics do not impeed function.

So I’ve tried a few different mufflers on my 06 Silverado. It has an eBay catless y pipe and 3 inch single exhaust system. The flow master flowfx sounded damn good but just too loud for daily use. Next, tried a dynomax turbo. Much more tolerable but still a little bit too loud. This muffler is about right. It’s definitely louder than stock but not annoying at all.

Works badass quieted my truck just what I wanted

The muffler was installed friday night and sounded nice, quiet & smooth , drove it all day saturday and sunday started to notice that it got a tad bit louder and raspy, Today is now monday and i drove it to work and back (30Miles) and got home and my truck sounds like i have a straight pipe exhaust and horrible drone in the cab, Would not purchase a Walker Product again.

Arrived fast and the quality is excellent and much more inexpensive than OEM

I felt the loss on the top end on my ram, but gained a good bit on the bottom. At least from my butt dyno... Edit: after about a year I started getting a noise from the muffler. It's almost 2 years old now and I'm looking for a replacement. It is slowly getting louder as well.
