EXCELLENT!!!!
I don't think the reviewers here that left a bad review know enough about these radiant heaters to actually do a review of it, and these are quality made for the best price that I have found. I have A 1500 sq. foot home and the vented heat pump does not keep up with the winters here in New Mexico, at 35 degrees F. It can't keep me warm I research it for months and decided to get two of these energy mizers 800watt panels for the ceiling now I don't need to get a heat strip that uses much more energy to keep the house warm. I converted my whole house over to electric with an electric car and have an 8000 watt solar hybrid system running my electric and I think this is the best way to go. By the way these heaters don't wear out, you should get about 40 years out of them and wait to see the energy savings 40-50 % more efficient than a ceramic hearter.

Loved!
Love these! Definitely saved on electric and put room heats between 90-100 degrees. We hooked them up to WiFi outlets that support their voltage. Makes it easy to turn them all on using an iPad.

Surprisingly warm
Didn't know what to expect as product has mixed reviews. I tested it by standing it on a counter in the unheated room. The 800w Wexstar panel really warmed the room up. Was going to install it on 8 foot high ceiling, but unit gave off too much heat for a low ceiling; you need more separation between the 800w unit and people. Its puts out heat. I moved the unit to another room with 10 + foot ceiling and it worked great. I ordered a separate wireless thermostatic plug which turns the unit on and off. Thermostat set at 67 degrees and Wexstar unit really takes the chill out of the room. Really happy with unit; absolutely quiet and visually innocuous. (Note: I ordered lower wattage panels for the low ceiling room. Hopefully they will be less intense within that 2 foot head space.)

Let it heat up.
At first I didn’t think it was working. I put it in my garage, and it wasn’t heating it up at first. But after around 8 hours or so, it heated my garage up nicely!

It an infrared panel
Advertised and described as an infrared panel but it’s not. This is a radiant heat panel, the whole panel gets hot. At its hottest point on the panel I recorded 208 degrees after 15 minutes of operating. This is basically an electric heater that you can mount on the wall. I doubt whoever said they mounted this on a high ceiling and it heated the room is an authentic customer. Also, bought this for $465 and now it’s $299. Retuning this product. One star for the bait and switch advertising.

Works well.
Works well, but very pricey. Giving it three stars do to price. Comparing this to https://www.amazon.com/Homeleader-Adjustable-Thermostat-Workshops-Warehouses/dp/B07DG3CF4Q/ref=sr_1_37?crid=3A37J0E4WWHSY&dchild=1&keywords=comfort+zone+space+heater&qid=1586537886&sprefix=comfort+zone+space+heater%2Cgarden%2C171&sr=8-37 My experience was that this radiant heater delivers warm, even heat, compared to standard portable heater. Standard portable heaters were to hot or to cold, depending on location from yourself. Can take a while for area to heat up. Performs best when left on for long periods. Best if mounted from ceiling (surface temperature is 190 Fahrenheit). 9 times more expensive than standard portable heater. :( Supplemental heat only.

Buckles when it's heated up. Too hot to the touch.
I like that it does it's job, but I paid almost $400 for what I thought was gonna be a sleek design. What it is is a thin metal sheet that heaps up in a aluminum frame. When heated up, the thin metal buckles from heat expansion in it's visible on a flat wall. Also perhaps too hot to the touch as it borderline burns me as in I cannot keep my hand on it for even 1 second and I am heat tolerant. Will try another brand. Too expensive.

Good for small hot yoga space but hard to mount on ceiling.
We bought 4 of these to use for home hot yoga space since shut in. Please with infrared heat and quality but hanging these on a ceiling overhead is near impossible to do. Even with the paper template and careful drilling anchors, it is a beating. Ended up creating a wire strap to hold on place then used some straight strap metal to hang them on 4 points to frame. This also allowed dropping the panels down 6 inches from ceiling so we can get good and sweaty. There is no on off and temp gauge so this added $50 each to use Inkbird Wifi tstats.

hung on the ceiling right above the sofa at the cottage. I set it up with a remote control switch and whenever I am feeling a little chilly, I just press the button on the remote. Takes a few minutes to warm up. but then you just feel a very comfortable warmth that doesn't compare to baseboard or unit heater. I got it for the comfort, but I am sure it saves $$ when the room heat is not increased. No more blankets!

I've had these panels for about 2 months now. I wanted to wait until November until we got into some cold weather before I wrote the review. I'm extremely pleased with these panels. I have 3 of these panels (in separate rooms). They effectively heat the room they are in, and are completely silent. Installation only took about 15 minutes. I'll likely buy a few more for other rooms in my house. My only improvement suggestion would be to bundle them with a thermostat.

I installed this (2"x4" 800W) on the ceiling above my couch. I have an eight foot ceiling and this is just too far for the heat thrown off to make enough of a difference. If it was two feet closer it would be great. Tested with a temp gun, the surface got to 100°C. In my experience with radiant heaters, that temperature is too low. That temperature makes it safe for wall mounting in a place where an accidental touch may happen. I think I will stick with yhe higher end radiant heaters that are meant for ceiling mounting only.

Installed in the kitchen. With conventional heating my floors are always cold and windows always frozen shut. This solved both problems. Can’t wait to change the rest of house to infrared heating.
