Product description ------------------- Detralex is a medicine that contains two active substances: - diosmin, - hesperidin. These substances are ceutical substances of origin and belong to a group of phenolic compounds, called flavonoids. It belongs to a group of medicines called venotonics and vasculoprotectives (medicines that reduce the symptoms of venous insufficiency and protect blood vessels). It works by reducing the extensibility of veins and normalizing capillary permeability. It is used to reduce symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency (a condition where the blood flow through the veins is blocked causing lower extremity discomfort) and to reduce symptoms of hemorrhoids. Indications ----------- DETRALEX is a venotomy (increases venous tone) and a vasoprotector (increases the resistance of small blood vessels). DETRALEX is recommended for symptomatic of venous-vascular disorders (swollen legs, pain, tired legs) and for symptomatic of acute hemorrhoidal crises. One contains 500 mg flavonoid fraction, purified and micronized, a corresponding to: flavonoids expressed as hexeridine; 10% - 50 mg; Diosmin: 90% - 450 mg.
