WOODRIVER Project Kit - Wall Street II Pen Kit, Standard Gold Finish

When I purchase a product, I don't often want to have to guess at what it takes to make it work. There was NO info at all with this pen kit or the other one I bought. What siize brass tube is it so I can know what size drill bit to use to drill the wooden blank out. What size or "model" bushings do I need to attach the blank onto the mandrel? I wrote questions to the seller. He answered one on one of the sizes. I asked more questions and he told me to contact customer service at Woodcraft. Woodcraft answered my questions. Between the seller and the producer, I spent over an hour. Waiting for responses has wasted several days. It is a good thing I was not in a big hurry. I've purchased other pen kits and they have contained spec sheets, come with basic info in the packet or have provided a web-site that had all the info I needed.This has not been my most favorite experiences.

I love Wallstreet pen kits from Woodcraft. The finish is excellent and the transmission is silky smooth. Very high quality.

Nice pen set made for a good gift

The pen is only as good as the time spent on accuracy and this pen kit is an excellent choice for style and craftsmanship if properly assembled.

It was a gift but the picture showed a nice pen but it came all in little pieces so I returned it.

Helen, thanks for your review. I'm sure I'm not the only penturner who smiled at it. I made 4 pen AND pencil sets in this design an will surely make more. So, Helen, look up you local wood turners club and let them help you make a beautiful pen like the one in the picture. You'll be glad you did. - Jim

This is a nice pen kit for making your own pen. It is not a finished complete pen and it was nevered offered that way...it goes together easily and is very attractive. You could use any pen blank to enhance the finished pen...
