I have a vent over the door to a spare room that opened from the hallway. I noticed there we a LOT of heat coming from the ceiling into that space between the walls. My laser heat thermometer was measuring over 112 degrees. I cut and shoved this into the space between the walls and the next day the temp was 85, Almost 30 degrees cooler.

I use this product for insulating the firewall on my 96 Ranger the passenger side floorboard is inches away from the exhaust manifold collector it would routinely get extremely warm you could feel it in your shoes this product cut down on heat soak into the cab noticeably improved

I use 1 inch foam instead of the little curtains on my window ac. The foam is a great insulator but transmit sound like an open window. I applied it to the foam and now it is as quiet as the double pane window.Thanks
