Good, basic kit.
Disclaimer: I am not a prepper, prior military or a survivalist. I like to be prepared for anything. I bought this as part of my Get Home Bag but plan to supplement it with some items since it'll be part of a larger kit for emergencies.Pros:The knife is the real deal. It's heavy, spring loaded and sharp. Some might be able to open it with the thumb, I can't. But i'm able to open it by using the quick release tab.The fire starter is good. It took me a few scraps before I got sparks. It feels good and strong. The FAK appears adequate but I will be supplementing with things that I need b/c I have a kid. I'll also be putting it all into a small coin purse to keep it all together. The whistle and multi function card are good quality. Very sturdy materials.I haven't tested the flashlight, however it feels like one that I already that I like.Cons:Compass - it is what it is. I wouldn't use this as my primary navigation tool. I tested it by pointing South and then West with my iPhone. The compass get's close enough but i felt that it took too much shaking to "re calibrate" it.Bracelet - I wouldn't wear this but the para cord with the fire starter (which works, btw) is a good redundancy.Overall, I am pleased with the kit. I can see this being useful on camping trips and emergency situations.

A nice starter kit.
You get a lot of key components to a small emergency kit with this. You could certainly piece one together yourself but this is a good start. It’s nice to get the pouch and some necessities all in one. I have made some additions and subtractions to this kit to suit my needs. You can buy all of the components separately but in my experience it was a pain in the rear. Wally World now has flashlights and most survival items under lock and key and you need to find an associate just so you can touch something. The flashlight seems of decent quality and works well. The compass on the bracelet also works. Ferro rod throws good sparks. Even the tiny ferro rod on the bracelet throws sparks. Space blankets seem fine, small first aid kit has some basics. Whistle is plenty loud. The multi tool is pretty much useless. One thing you need to know about is the knife. The knife is a beast. Assisted opening with smooth action and very sharp. Has a window breaker on the end and a seat belt cutter.I will keep it in my car in case I ever need it but I will not be carrying it in this pouch because it weighs a ton! If you ever dropped it on your foot it would do some damage. The idea of this kit for me was small, lightweight and portable. The knife doesn’t fit in with that for me. I have replaced it with a lighter weight knife. I have also added some matches and a lighter and some tinder quicks. Overall it is a nice kit that provides a foundation for you to customize to your needs. The pouch is decent quality and will hold more than the items shown. Really a bargain for the price.

Great Value with many key survival tools!
Great quality kit for a low price. I was pleasantly surprised after receiving the Stealth Squads survival kit. Each item felt of high caliber materials and craftsmanship. The pouch is a good size and could double easily as a hiking pouch for your phone and keys. Knife is a good weight and balance, with a quick release open. The compass bracelet acts as a whistle, second flint tool, extra nylon rope +more; an ingenious design. The tactical flashlight uses one AA battery and pacts a strong light, for its size. The fire starter ferrocerium rod did great with the pocket card as recommended. First aid kit and mylar blankets complete the well rounded emergency kit. Worth every penny.

Meets Most Basic Needs
I was impressed with the quality of the pouch itself. Sturdy and solid. The flashlight is a great little light. But could be brighter. The fire starter rod is actually a flint. It is a little deceiving in the photo. But the biggest issue I have is with the knife! It is solid and has all you want in an everyday carry or survival pouch. But the knife folded up on my fingers twice when using it. Beware. I had to modify it just a big to get the lock to consistently latch and stay latched. All the other items are just like any other survival kit you can purchase. Two things I would add to this kit is a water straw or purifier and some cards.

Compact, Lightweight, Best bang for your buck
Bought this for both my brother's birthday and boyfriend's Christmas gift. I've searched high and low for the perfect, compact, and lightweight kit that they could easily throw in their hiking backpack before a trip. After comparing multiple versions of this, this pack seemed like the best bang-for-your -buck. It's the perfect size ( whole bag fits in your hand) and is lightweight enough to bring on trips. It's the perfect supplement to a camping or hiking adventure -- comes with everything you'd need if you get stuck in a pickle outdoors and need to stay warm, dry, safe, etc. (Knife, fire-starter, first aid kit, poncho). The one odd thing I wanted to point out is the e-book -- I was under the impression it'd be about how to use these different tools while on an outdoor adventure but the e-book instead described how to prep for like a zombie apocalypse or something -- I felt a little weird forwarding that over to my brother and bf, though the end of the e-book describes the tools a bit. Also note if you are buying this for a gift, it a) doesn't come with a sheet of contents or anything (so it's hard to know what the tools are / are for) without any context, and b) you have to download the e-book with your Order #. (I downloaded it and forwarded it to everyone). Overall great gift!

A good kit at a good price. Carrying pouch is a good quality.
I just received this kit. It is exactly as described, and as the other reviews reflect. Add your own batteries, but do not leave them in the light. If your luck is good, you won't need this kit, and batteries won't last forever. You also would not want to have them leak inside your light.Worth the price. Know what you are ordering. The knife is all steel, it has some weight to it. The E-book is a listing of items one needs to be thinking about ahead of time. It is worth reading. You may want to supplement this kit with a full size compass. It is worth the price, know what you are buying.
