Unbelievably sturdy, but is a bit heavy. The weight isn’t a problem because it’s so good. Holds raw ice for a week when it’s 80 out and not in direct sun. Great AMERICAN made cooler.

This is the perfect cooler for a fishing trip or campout. It's an absolute tank of a cooler and I'm confident you could drop it from a plane and it'd be fine. I see a lot of people complaining about the size. I put about 13 cans in it with ice and the dry container easily. Take the container out and you could fit probably 14 cans in it. For a guy like me who just wants to fish and maybe stay a night, it's perfect. The strap is very well made and will not break, and it's perfect to use as a seat. Its made in the USA which I love! Finally, the icing on the cake was that it came almost two weeks early. I ordered on a Tuesday and got it by Friday the same week.ICE TEST: I ran a little test the other day. I filled it with ice and left it. The evening of the next day it was still full of ice after I left it in the cab of my black truck in 91°F weather!UPDATE: I've had this cooler for about a year now and use it often. No problems at all!

I've read several reviews on this, and now that I have one, I wanted to leave some feedback on this product.I bought this because I am tired of having all my ice melt when I go to the beach in the summer. My old cooler just could not take the heat, and after a few hours my ice was all gone. I want my drinks icy cold, so I spent the money for this premium cooler.Not only does this cooler prevent your ice from melting, but there have been a few days when I actually notice it has worked so well that some of my ice tea bottles have ice forming inside, where they did not when I originally loaded the cooler. In other words, the cooler actually chilled the drinks colder than they were when I began the day. Even in the outdoor heat.I recently took this cooler on the beach for a day in the 90 degree heat. I did keep the cooler in the shade. I was actually able to take ice out of the cooler and use the ice in my drinks all day on the beach, and there was still plenty of frozen ice left in the cooler at the end of the day to keep all my remaining drinks and sandwich totally chilled.This cooler costs more than most, but if you demand cold drinks and want your ice to stay frozen when you are on the beach or camping, it's money well spent. I'm confident that this cooler will continue to perform well for years to come.VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Cooler is the great for holing a few waters and a lunch. Honestly wish it was just 1 inch wider on the inside. Love the shoulder strap and color is easy to find! Fits perfectly behind the front and back seats of a full sized truck. Would buy again

Simply put, I can't recommend this cooler highly enough. Potential buyers will also be happy to know that Grizzly has recently re-designed their included (and very handy) inside tray to fit simultaneously with their optional 2lb "IceDivider".The cooler comes with a shoulder/hand carry strap. It also allows for an optional handle to be installed if that's something one might prefer. I think the choice would be more personal in nature but, for my wife and me, we like the shoulder strap because it leaves our hands free to carry other things and find it very comfortable to use.All in all, we've found this cooler to be a perfect solution for what we were looking for: an exceptionally designed, reasonably priced cooler which lives up to it's marketing promise, is manufactured in the USA out of quality materials and which will last longer than a few years down the adventurous roads we plan on taking it.I also need to add that I had an equally satisfying experience with Grizzly's Customer Service regarding a very minor issue which was handled every bit as well (actually much better) than what one might reasonably expect. For me, that was icing on the cake.How nice to see such a fine example of American industry living up to it's potential!If the 15 quart cooler is too small, check out their larger coolers. They're all equally well made and just remember: you get what you pay for.If you want a cheap cooler which melts ice faster than you can say, "Oh shucks!" then save yourself more than a few $'s and go buy a cheap throw-away Styrofoam cooler which will keep ice every bit as long as those selling for much more.Or, if you're looking to impress your neighbors with your $'s and lack of sense, then spend another $100+ and get yourself a nice, shiny, Foo-foo marketed hunk of over-priced you-know-what, sit around the fake-wood campfire in your backyard, talk smart and pat yourself on the back for making another genius decision which caused your disgusted ex-wife to leave years ago :-)For those remaining: check these Grizzly coolers out. They absolutely nailed it as far as I'm concerned.

High quality, does the job very well

Bought this to match the larger Grizzly Sea Foam cooler that I have (30 qt I think?) and while I like it, it was smaller on the inside than I anticipated. I was hoping to use this for bottles of liquor and carafes of sangria, however it wasn't tall enough to accommodate my containers. This cooler is now designated for food items instead. I brought it use for a wedding weekend and used it to store snacks. It kept ice in it all weekend and I was happy to have it because it was much lighter than my other cooler. I am 5'4" with rather short arms and this was comfortable to carry, even when completely full.
