Good quality crutches
Had to order these after breaking my ankle, they arrived promptly. They were easy to adjust to the right height for me and comfortable to use. I use a walker normally due to a disability but will most likely keep using one on short walks instead if a walking stick as it was more supportive. Great value for money, felt they could bear my weight well and could use them confidently.

Comfortable and highly adjustable.
Brought these to support a ankle injury , they are of solid construction , Adjusting the height was easy, and they fit perfectly. They are comfortable to use all day without causing extra strain or discomfort

Easy to alter
Comfy handgrips, easy to alter -- pull out the ring/pin instead of trying to push the little ball/knob in, easier to line the holes up.20st husband feels safe with them.

Great once the end caps are glued in
When I first used them in the house the end caps did indeed start working their way out as everyone else has mentioned. So first job was to superglue them in place. Since then, no issue. They are as comfy as a pair of crutches can be I guess and quite sturdy. Certainly an improvement on the standard NHS effort. If only they would glue the end caps in themselves they would get 5 stars. Good value for money.

Great quality
Got the larger size for my 5’8” son after surgery and they were great. He used them on the middle-ish setting so I would say they could suit up to about 5’11” maybe even 6’

Better than the NHS supply
They are not expensive. I bought these and found them to be fine, so good value for money. Then I was given a pair of crutches by our local hospital. Despite being very similar the handles were not handed like these are, so you can use them either side. The result is that the NHS ones are tricky, and made me feel unstable, whereas these with the contoured grips are much better. SO good I bought a second pair and am going to give the NHS ones back. Lastly as the height adjustments are simple pins rather than internal click adjustments they are again superior to the NHS ones.

Comfortable
Good value. I pulled a hamstring and was struggling with just a stick. These came quickly and so helped my mobility and allowed rest to my right leg and therefore aided recovery

Right crutch fractured and immediately broke and caused significant injury
29. JAN. 2025 UPDATE!After changing the ferrules for a decent manufacturers (Sept. 24) I was getting along quite well until… walking along and no problems then the TIGHT CRUTCH SNAPPED just below the handle (see photos). I’m just under 100kg and the specs say rated for 127kg. The lower pylon (leg of the crutch) stabbed into my right side and however, luckily for me I was wearing a thick waxed jacket that protected me and I fell over onto my right side hitting the ground very hard. My head hit the wall to my right, my right arm now extending outwards on reflex held me from further injury. I was extreme lucky it didn’t happen along a main road where I would have fallen in the path of cars and trucks… I don’t want to think about what would happen there. I had my young children with me as we were coming home from school.I know that if I’d not had a heavy tough coat on then I would probably be suffering a severe chest injury (broken ribs plus a probable traumatic pneumothorax/hemopneumothorax) where given the state of peoples complete lack of emergency medical training then leading to complications and infection.I have non-load bearing Osteoarthritis in my left hip so as I don’t have spare crutches (who would!?) then I am now immobile thanks to this manufacturers catastrophic failure. The plastic is the handle is subject to load bearing and the light alloy is strong enough to cope with this strain however, the plastic of the connection between the lower and upper alloy parts is clearly inadequate and insufficient for purpose. This could have been quite easily been designed to far higher standards even with a solid pin through the handle inserting into both the leg and the arm pieces. This would provide strength, greater stability, prevent failure through fatigue plasticity of the plastic handle section, and above all prevent severe accidents and injury. I was extremely lucky to have got out relatively unscathed but which of us won’t with the next incident.I’m now stuck, unable to take my children to school and as I can only walk 400m WITH crutches then this is severely limiting my life quality and causing the critical tasks I need to perform to be impossible.Thank you for your CRAP DESIGN and your penny pinching in manufacturing materials.Sept’24:These crutches arrived around 1330h yesterday (19.9.24) in a barely assembled weak box that was falling apart and the tape holding it closed was minimal. I was surprised they’re remained in the box! However, after only 60m yesterday (19th) + 640m today (20th) the ferrules started deteriorating. I have added photos of this! The left crutch now hits the floor with barely any fertile material between it and the metal and can be heard making contact. The crutches are reasonable although the arm ‘clasp’ is quite tight but the materials used for the ferrules is absolutely crap!I’ve had to buy new ferrules with steel reinforcing washers in them to replace the less than one day rubbish the crutches came with. This company declares it supports the NHS! What can I say about that!? No wonder the NHS is in such a dismal, incompetent, deliberately run down and sabotaged state if companies like this are the benchmark for ‘quality’!I’m so sick and tired of BS companies ripping us off with EXTREMELY LOW QUALITY in their greed and avarice for profits and clearly showing no self-respect, no ethical nor moral compass guidance, and absolutely ZERO RESPECT for their customers.
