TorkDistributors is Compatible with Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro Pool Pump Shaft Seal & O-Ring Rebuild Kit

My pump is 12 years old so it's just about done anyway, maybe I'll get a couple more years with this fix. The impeller o-ring fit perfect, the big pump shell o-ring circumference was a tad too big. I would have liked this kit to include the small drain plug o-rings. I didn't disconnect the unions, so I didn't need those. Some o-ring lube would have been a nice touch, but most pool diyers prolly already have some...

The seal had all the attributes I recall from my original pump seal and fit perfectly. The last one I used had some clear design differences and did not last very long. This one has a decent size spring... as it should.I replaced my diffuser and impeller. I needed a new impeller o-ring. The old one had swollen and became a fight to re-assemble the pump chamber. The new one fixed that and the pump went together with ease.As others have said the pump chamber o-ring goes in as too big. It does actually fit. It wants the entire o-ring groove right to the outer edge to fit so be patent and remember to keep it pushed to the outer edges. A little o-ring lubricant made it sticky enough to stay in place in the grove while it was re-assembled. I had some super lube o-ring lubricant.

These gaskets and O rings fit the large Starite in ground pool lite perfectly. The largest ring appeared lose fitting and I just used silicone lubricant which helped hold it in place while I assembled the unit. DO NOT USE PETROLEUM based products. They will corrode the rubber. Be sure to measure the ring you are replacing as there are a few sizes out there. Great set for the price!

I purchased another version of this product for my pump that did not work correctly (even though description stated it would) and it broke within the first test of the pump. This product did work properly and has fixed the leak issue with the pump. All is well, except I paid $15.00 for an item that broke within the first run and did not work properly

All parts fit except the O rings for the 2" PVC inlet and outlet connector. The pool piping has been in service for 40 years so tolerances may have changed. These connections were not leaking and the O rings were in good shape.

I have the pump specified but parts way too small. Required housing 0-ring is about 10", largest in kit was about 6". Other internal o-rings also too small for the application. Went to the pool store and bought a kit as specified and everything fit.Still waiting for refund after 5 weeks. Unacceptable and not the norm for Amazon.

o-rings and shaft seal fit perfect, came with 2 extra o-rings, I guess for the pump union fittings. didn't need them because after removal or the ring clamp, the serviceable parts separate from the housing. rebuild done in about an hour and no more leaks.
