OTC Post-Op Shoe, Soft Top, for Men & Women, Medium (Men)

I bought 2 of these as my husband has feet that are naturally very wide and high over the arches, with additional swelling since he's mostly wheelchair bound now. He normally wears a 12 5E width, or 13, just to get the space he needs. I got these in large and they are working great for standing, transfers and when he's in physical therapy. I did have to trim the velcro fasteners as they are extremely long and I've wrapped the upper strap with some padding as the velcro was rubbing against his foot. Other than that, they're working great and easy to put on/take off. I especially appreciate the ability to tighten the two straps separately - as he gets in/out of the car, he really has to press with one foot and these don't let his foot slip out of the shoe.

I need to wear an Arizona brace and it is hard to find a shoe that will fit over it especially without other shoe being large. This fits over it great without adding extra clumsiness and being overly noticeable. My situation is a little unusual and I was very happy to find an acceptable solution.

This product does not suit my needs. I needs s it to go over an Arizona brace. It does not. Because this is non-returnable, I am stuck with this useless (to me) item. I gave it 2 stars because the shipping was timely, otherwise it would have been one star.

This was a great value for me because I bought an “opened package “. This show was far less bulky then what I was given after surgery so the support was better because it fit better. With that being said it’s not meant to support your foot as much as it is to keep it flat so you heal. At least that was my case.

Broke my right pinky toe and this gave me support so I could walk without it hurting / bending with normal slip on shoes like crocs/flip flops.I received the all black shoe, but the box showed black shoe and white sole. Glad it was all black though. Great product for broken pinky toes.The only problem was the Velcro strap was way too long however it can be tucked or wrapped around the sides.Edit: BTW I wear a size 14 Mens shoe. If you wear a size 15+ this will most likely not fit as my toes are about half an inch from the edge of the shoe.

I’d size up if you’re debating. I’m a size 10 and women’s larger was too small. Still would have been a great value at half the price from a specialist’s office if it had worked out.

There isn't much to say about this product, anyone who needs it knows what it is, anyone who's used one also knows it's hard to find a well made one for a reasonble price. This one is very reasonable and the material is strong and comfortable. everything looks to be made to last. The velcro fasteners are a bit long, but that's not an issue as you can always cut it to fit. Works well, stays on and doesn't hurt my foot in any way. fits snugly but not too tightly. it does what it needs to do.

I wear an 8 Wide shoe. This was so short my broken toes were barely protected. When secured closed there was too much room, perfect if you have a big bulky dressing, but bad if you want secure footing and no jiggling. I ended up having the doctor fit one on me in his office. Much to my dismay, it was only 3 dollars more than this one. This post op shoe was an unfortunate waste of money for me however, if it will work for you, it is solidly made with a very rigid sole and adjustable straps.
