Touchdown for Tommy (Matt Christopher Sports Classics) Paperback – October 30, 1985

I bought this book at grammar school book fair sixty years ago. It's fun to have a "fresh" copy for my guests.

Very easy read for a kindergarten-1st grader. My son is OBSESSED with football and reads it every night before bed. He’s probably read it 50 times now.

I read this book each year of elementary school beginning in 3rd grade and concluding in the 6th grade. Even after playing two sports in college, and working in NCAA DI athletics for the past 7years, this remains one of my all time favorite sports related books!

This book was for my son! He loves Matt Christopher and the books qualify for his AR points!

I chosen a 5 because football is my favorite sport and love to read .I read many other Matt Christopher books.

It's another action pack fun to read sports story by Matt Christopher who is a great story teller that kids will enjoy reading. Through a great football story this book will share many sad and happy moments, I strongly recommend that every kid who likes a good sport story read it, I give it five stars, and I'm Marvin P. This is the first book I checked out when I got my first public library card in about 1966!Copy-written in 1959, a true testament about how good a kids book this is.5 stars, it made such an impression on me as a kid, that I still remember enjoying reading this, even now.
