A great primer on Shopper Marketing and as relevant today as it was the year it was published.
As the world becomes an intertwined economy of experiences David Kepron shares Science, History and a solid look at the future of retail marketing. I highly recommend the book for any marketer who wants to understand how to get their customers dopamine receptors working to support their brand and business.The Retail experience (with emphasis on experience) will be the killer differentiator for brands and businesses that are fighting for the consumer's heart, mind, and wallet. David Kepron writes that while technology might be the elixir that businesses are pinning their hopes on, it is the relationship with the customer that matters.I can't wait for his next book and will read it right away when it is published.

I recently attended David Kepron's presentation of his new book, Retail (r)Evolution, and was very impressed with both his knowledge of the underlying physical and psychological factors that drive the individual's decision to make the retail purchase - as well as his anecdotal references (including personal and professional) that drive the key points of the book.I am now halfway through the book and highly recommend it to both students, retail designers, and retailers as it provides detailed, informative perspectives on all of the components that influence the buying decision in an individual - including the Boomers, Millenials, Generation X, and even the up and coming "iKids of tomorrow".

I feel like someone just gave me the answers to a test
WOW! I feel like someone just gave me the answers to a test. As a retailer, I am constantly reading and trying to stay ahead. This book is truly insightful and explains why customers react and connect during the shopping experience. I just finished reading this book on Wednesday and have begun changing my holiday marketing within my shop. I am so excited about the new year, now that I understand how to make better connections with my customers!! I now have the keys to better compete and succeed.Thank you for the insight!

This is a must read for every retail owner. I own (24 years) a retail coffee business with multiple locations and have run my business intuitively. After reading this book, I now know the "why" behind some of my successful promotions as well as why some of my other promotions failed. I no longer have to continue with my "trial and error" method of marketing because this book has given me the tools to better understand my customers and build lasting connections. What an amazing book!
