A lot of the pictures in this book were from my local mosque. There is a picture of my grandfather praying here, so it’s really special to me.I showed an original copy of this book to the two principals at both of my kids schools. They both were in awe, and wanted to borrow it for the month of Ramadan.I was so excited to find it here on Amazon so that I could buy and donate a copy to each school.Now so many students can learn and visually see the beauty of Islam, how we practice and where we practice.Local or not, this is a great title to have in your home and to share.Thank you so much Sister Aisha for creating this!

This book is a wonderful way to introduce an elementary-age child to Muslim practices. The author provides simple explanations of concepts that Muslims take for granted, especially those details that mosque-goers forget to explain to visitors, like the presence of shoe racks and wudu sinks. I highly recommend this book for interfaith purposes.

This book made me take a whole different view on islam. The pictures and descriptions were extraordinary. This book changed my view of what a mosque looked like from the inside.
