Easy to use.
Use to weigh honey. The tare feature is great. Can weigh empty container first then add honey to get accurate weigh of product.

Rounds the pounds
What I disliked about this product is that the pound reading does not accurately read because it does not carry to .00. So when you weight a light product you have to weight by grams. 1.08 pounds for example measures as 1 pound.

Amazing quality, true pro-grade kitchen accessory, priced for the amateur home chef
It's hard to give enough superlatives for this sleeper product. If you cook at all and expect to garner consistent results, weighing your ingredients is a MUST. While it's possible to get a $25 scale and meet some of these requirements, there are just too many compromises. Too small, can't see the reading, too light to measure, too heavy, battery went dead, needs to plug in, flaky controls ... ugh! Using this scale, these annoying and unnecessary compromises just disappear. It's like being in a professional grade kitchen.

Perfectly accurate and easy to use.
I fill and weight bags of pet treats for my small business. They weight 3, 7 or 12 oz. This scale is perfect for the job and accurate to .05 of an ounce. It's built well and seems like it will last a long time. It was very affordable and delivery was fast. Thanks!

Almost perfect but would pay more for greater accuracy WITH higher weight limit
Thank you to all the others who have left reviews--it helped me choose a better scale for my food business. What I would REALLY love is a scale that weighs up to 30 or 60lb AND to a single gram. There are such scales out there, and I've bought some but they didn't work! Product turned out inconsistent and awful. This is the 8th or 10th scale my business is running on, and finally we have one we can keep. I should really give it 5 stars, but want to share why I docked one, despite all its goodness.THE GOOD:-it's accurate and fast. Product made using this scale came out perfect. I also love that the weight reading doesn't waver randomly without adding or taking something off the scale. It seems "decisive" and stays put. This helps our production time.-it has a dual readout--an extra display on the back side, so if my employee is filling bags on one side of it, I can casually glance over and check her work while I do something else. This is a super bonus. Our employee is faster and more accurate than an automatic bag filler, but still...it's cool.- It has both a plug-in and battery system.THE BAD:-I WISH it would weigh much more while still being accurate. However, the accuracy part was a tradeoff--we just have to weigh a lot of sequential measures of ingredients to get enough to fill our equipment. We CHOSE the 6lb limit because we needed the 1g accuracy. We have a .01g scale for smaller ingredients that must be weighed extra carefully. But still, for a 30qt batch of product, we still need to be accurate to 1g or the product doesn't come out right. I would have paid twice as much or more for a scale with a 60lb capacity with 1g accuracy, if it actually worked. Maybe they don't exist, which might be why this scale has such good reviews.-It takes weird fiddly batteries. I believe they're size C or D, and it requires 6 or 8 of them. We use eneloop rechargeable batteries (that we charge on solar). For larger battery sizes, eneloop puts AAs inside a "jacket" of a larger battery. To use it on battery we will have to order extra battery "jackets." It seems somewhat inefficient that way. For our purposes, it would have been better just to use AAs and have to change them more often. I would also pay more for it to come with a much smaller rechargeable battery of its own.-The plugin for the power cord is in a weird spot INSIDE the battery compartment. If you tend to use batteries, but want to plug it in occasionally, it will be awkward because you'll have to take out the batteries to plug it in. That would be a messy process. In any case, we're super happy with it and will continue to use it. As of now, it's the only scale we know of that will even work for our business. The above criticisms would be good for future design iterations.
