S&B Oriental Curry Powder (Pack of 3) Y

This curry powder is listed in many Japanese curry recipes. I have gone through 3 cans since December and given away one. The curry has a bite to it which I love!!! The smell is wonderful! Take a little more work than using the blocks or mixes but so worth it.

This is a can everyone remembers from your mom's pantry as a child. That means it is not very strong in any particular flavor or spice. It is very well balanced with all the ingredients. If you are Japanese - you already know you love it. If you are not - whether you'll like it or you feel like some strong flavor might be missing, depending on your usual preference. It is good for curry, fried rice, dressings, sauces, anything. But I thought it was a bit spicier than I remembered.

It’s a great curry powder. I mostly curry chicken, but I love curried vegetables made with chicken stock.

I can't find this stuff in stores any more. It is the BEST.

Great for making a non wheat flour (gluten-free) based Japanese Curry. Just look up a recipe online for a roux. Easy peasy. I made some and I literally could not tell the diffrence.

Being from England, my wife knows how to cook a great curry sauce. We have been using this product for about 15 years now, never had bad batch.We had this product delivered just 2 days after ordering from Amazon.

I love the S&B brand but this particular Curry is not their best. I rather buy their Spicy Curry Powder which has a superior flavor.

This is by far my favorite Curry Powder. Hard to find in stores. Store brands available just don't measure up to the S&B distinct flavor(s). Can't beat this online price either.
