Awesome guitar
I’ve owned a few guitars in the past including a les Paul and this is the best guitar I’ve ever played on … on arrival it was no tour of the box , but set up with 9’s so I dropped it off to my local guitar tech and had it set up with 10s and now it sounds way better for me !! Love the color sound and playability of this guitar!!!And don’t let these reviews scare you the Floyd rose works perfectly fine haven’t had a string break on me yet… put the strings on keeping the locking nut on the neck unlocked really “stretch the strings” u may have to stretch the strings a few times… after that get it nicely tuned then lock the nuts on the neck …. After that fine tune with the bridge.

Great
Love this guitar. The pickups are split down the center so my picking doesn't hit them

Seriously disappointing...
EDIT: FYI, when it says not to over tighten the screws that hold the strings at the bridge, ignore that. Over tighten as much and as often as possible, and the E string MIGHT not pop off and the guitar MIGHT be playable. But over tighten that screw often. Very often. Considering how sharp all the strings go by just removing the high E, it's obvious there's way too much pressure on that string to keep the other 5 in tune. The bridge sucks. Period....right out of the box, 'broken' high E string at the bridge, fixed that with the slack at the tuning peg, broke again in 10 minutes. Replaced with a brand new thicker gauge, tuned the guitar for a good 15 minutes, it slipped all over the place, adding the new high E made all the other strings go into bizarre tunings, never settled once on a good enough tuning to even lock the nut...and then the E string dove in pitch and eventually 'broke' again...but it's really not breaking, it's slipping out of the shoddy fake Floyd Rose string holding mechanism. My goal was to replace that lame piece with the real thing anyways, but it's still pretty disappointing that this thing CANNOT be played out of the box at all. I may just return because of that fact alone.

It is an inexpensive guitar
So... for not much money, you get a playable instrument, that looks really cool. I wish Jackson had, not been sold to Fender, but whatever. I think this guitar is about the same quality as a Squire by Fender. Pickups are OK, neck is good, frets are average. Remember this is not a standard size guitar, but slightly downsized. The slightly reduced scale is easier for most beginners to play. The main issue is the Floyd Rose licensed bridge. A Floyd Rose bridge is a clever and complicated piece of guitar hardware. It needs to be accurately setup for the strings that are installed. Setup requires an accurate tuning instrument, some tools, skill, and most of all... time. Made in CHINA, where production time is at a premium. Many buyers will put new strings on the guitar anyway, so an accurate setup will need to be done by the owner, or someone they pay to do it. All in all, worth what it costs, and a lot of fun too.

I love this guitar
Amazing sounding guitar. By far the best I have ever owned. And the color is perfect. The tuning is alot different than a regular electric guitar. You HAVE TO LOOSEN the Allen screws on the neck before you tune the guitar. Once set relock the allen screws and the guitar stays in perfect tune for a long time. For minor adjustments you adjust from the bridge. Feels very solid. And is just really a amazing guitar. There are alot of reviews on YouTube also.Package was very secure and the box hold up very well during shipping.

Retuned due to disappointment
I had high expectations in this guitar, I was impressed by other Jackson models. This one however fell short in quality & performance. The fretting needed to be worked. The Floyd rose copy tremolo felt low quality, the g sting fine tunner felt like it was cross threaded & #1 E string kept popping loose. Quality & playability not even close to my LTD kh-202 or my old Ibenez.

Fantastic Value
I purchased this for my Godson for his Graduation. Very Fast neck. Played equally well to my Vintage Jackson Guitar. I may buy one for myself.
