Sounds Great / Quality Build / Not Made in China
I can't say enough about this guitar. The sound is excellent, very balanced, and smooth. Kind of throaty (but still very balanced) which I really like.I will say I have a large hand and found the neck to be very comfortable for me, which I'm actually not used to. I think this may be typical of "classical" guitars and I think the neck shape and size are modeled after a classical guitar. For context, I'm not a classical guitarist and purchased this just so I could get that nylon string guitar sound.I love that this product is NOT Made in China and was a significant factor in choosing it.The only minor complaint I have is I wish it were a tad bit fancier, perhaps a little more detail somewhere on the guitar to give it more of a wow factor. That said, I don't want to give the impression it's not attractive. I'd say it's an authentic-looking attractive guitar. But, for what it's worth, my daughter loves it and said it was a beautiful guitar so perhaps that's just my taste. The build quality is perfect, it's absolutely an excellent value and I would highly recommend it.

Great guitar, but not for me.
First of all, I really liked this guitar after watching a few videos by Will Brahm on Youtube; his tone was beautiful. I liked the idea of a narrow nut classical for steel string players. I liked the overwhelming positive reviews on Kremona guitars and the Verea in particular. Lastly, I liked the price and the risk free purchase on Amazon Prime.I got the guitar last Tuesday and I must say it was beautiful and had surprising volume along with a luscious tone. I put a battery in the electronics and played it through an Acoustic Image head and Reazer's Edge 10" cabinet, a rig for jazz guitars, not acoustic instruments. Even this sounded good. However, in spite of all these great qualities, I came to the conclusion I had to return it :(The simple reason being that the neck was too narrow for my tastes. I've been playing steel string instruments for many decades with nut widths no less that 1 and 3/4". Even though the Verea neck is even wider than most of my instruments, the effective width with the wider classical strings made it seem narrow to my fingers. I was fighting the neck. Additionally, I realized I'd have to develop and employ a separate left and right hand classical technique to properly work the instrument to its fullest.Bottom line, I an not ready to move to a classical guitar and probably never will be. I seem set in my ways and I accept that. The Verea is a wonderful instrument, hence my 5 star rating. The problem was me, not the guitar. Oh yeah, the shipping was on time and the return policy is great.

Great Guitar - Great Deal
I've played guitar over 40 years, and am a studio engineer, but I've always played steel string guitars. You name the brand, I've probably had one at some point. When I decided to consider a classical or nylon string guitar, I played hybrid or "crossover" models from Yamaha, Cordoba, Ibanez, Alvarez, and Kremona. Each of these manufactures had models I considered, but I ultimately bought the Kremona Verea. Their guitars not only play well, they're well made, and are a bargain considering the current US - Bulgarian exchange rate. Kremona has been building classical guitars and orchestral instruments (violin, viola, cello, & upright bass) since the early 1920s, so even though the guitars are somewhat new to the U.S., Kremona is an experienced manufacturer. You can see the workmanship in a video at YouTube - just search Kremona.Generally, a traditional classical guitar has a 50 or 52mm nut (1.96 - 2.04"), a flat (non-radiused) fretboard, and is probably not a guitar a steel string player would find easily accessible. The action is often higher, and the string spacing is wider making the feel of the guitar completely different from any steel string. The Verea, however, is not a traditional classical guitar. The Verea has a 48mm nut (1 7/8") and a 16" radius fingerboard which makes it fairly similar to a steel string acoustic guitar, which typically has a 45mm (1 3/4") nut. As a result, the guitar plays very much like a steel string guitar.Rosewood sides and back with a Red Cedar top, the guitar is responsive, has great frequency balance (bass-mids-treble). The guitar has a tapered neck, similar to a steel string acoustic, and is comfortable to play. I would compare the feel of the neck to a 1960s of 70s Gibson acoustic. The Fishman Presys sounds good, and works flawlessly. At the price-point Kremona offers a lot more for the money than their competitors, and is a guitar I would recommend. Great guitar!

Great guitar for a working musician.
This guitar has very fine craftsmanship, a great amplified sound, a really useful builtin tuner and really good unplugged tone for practicing. The action is not true to a classical guitar but here is the punch line: most classical guitars are a pain in the a$$. They don't have dots on the fretboard to help guide you to 5,7 and 12th fret, they are overly wide so you have to stretch your fingers abnormally (if you are used to steel string or electric). So unless you are a classical purist I say buy this guitar if you need to perform classical or jazz. It sound great amplified, it plays great, the built in electronics are great and very practical for a working musician who needs to tune up fast. Very happy with my purchase. If the guitar had a finer unplugged tone I would give it 5 stars. But still - if you are a working musician who needs to make money and not drag around a $5k guitar on the road - buy it!!!
