Realistic for 7-9.
For 7-9 irons these mimic normal balls in distance. So make sure you have the room. Dispersion is about the same too. I have a two acre lawn and used all of it for a full swing 7 iron. About 160 yards. For fun I hiit a 5 hybrid and it maxed out at 160 as well. Wind will shape your shots a lot more than a regular ball. The nice thing about these is that they make your miss hits obvious. Slice and hooks are dramatic. So practice adjustments are easier. In order words, these balls are unforgiving, which is good. You want obvious feedback for practice.I use a net for smash practice and no net for shape and swing with short irons.

Great feel for a practice ball
Can't speak to durability yet, but after a few hits these feel so much better than the standard foam ball. I also have a set of AlmostGolf practice balls that these will compare against, will update this later with thoughts on durability and value.

Terrific Product - Be Careful Indoors
I was very pleasantly surprised with how real these balls felt and behaved when practicing indoors.I knew that when I used softer, less realistic foam balls in my practice, I wasn't always getting the best feedback about my swing. They are very durable and have held up very well despite hundreds of strokes with my irons and wedges! With that said, I would be very careful when using these indoors, even in a garage. When practicing indoors I took a full swing on one of these with an iron and pulled my shot into a 1/2" thick glass pane, instead of striking the stone block wall that I use for practice. I broke the corner off of the glass pane.I don't really blame the product since I don't think it is possible to make such a great limited flight ball but also make it safe around fragile objects. But it did surprise me that I could actually do that with a foam ball. I now take safeguards to assure that I have moved or protected any fragile objects that may be in direct line of an errant shot.I look forward to using these outdoors in my backyard after the winter weather breaks. I've wanted to practice pitching but have been nervous using real golf balls because of limited space. These balls will be great for that!

They work fine with a GC2 launch monitor
According to ball flight data on GC2, they go just over half the distance of a regular e.g. Titleist golf ball. However, they are significantly quieter than a normal ball and because they are much lighter, wayward shots will also do significantly less damage in a closed environment like a golf sim room. Their lightness compared to a regular ball would be off putting to some people who want the ‘feel’ of the club head striking the ball. The fact is, everyone wants that feeling but these balls are intended to be a ‘play indoors’ compromise that trades of distance and feel for the ability to hit some balls indoors without annoying your family or the neighbours. The GC2 monitor tracks the flight of the balls as well as a normal ball so if you’re just practising your swing you will certainly be able to see a valid ball trajectory and for me at least that’s good enough for both fun and practice. I don’t know how durable they are but they seem to be good quality if a bit on the too expensive side. However it’s unlikely you will lose them inside so you’ll probably get a lot of use out of them!

Good ball for indoor practice.
Used on an OptiShot indoor golf sim. Slightly larger heavier and play longer than almost golf balls.Expensive for 6, I got a dozen. I can hit real balls into my screen/net but bounce back can be a problem as it is in the garage, so I use these and almost golf balls usually.

Good, hard practice balls but longer than you think
Pretty sweet but they definitely go further than you would think. If you’re using a short iron you should expect them to go about 90% as far as a normal ball. With a longer club their lack of weight will keep them to <50% of your typical distance. Regardless of the distance, I’ve hit several cars and they don’t dent but they DO make a loud noise when hitting a vehicle that will cause your wife to come out and question you. I’ll probably buy again. They are much better than the foam yellow balls or wiffle balls you find at sporting good stores. They are kind of expensive for what they are. Sadly I’ve only one left because the others were lost after a couple days.

Good foam balls
These are actually pretty fun. I live in a neighborhood and bought these because I kept putting holes through golf nets when hitting my longer clubs, so I wanted a less destructive ball that will provide some decent feel and feedback. Really these do NOT feel like real balls, but they are still pretty good for a foam ball. After hitting a few of these balls into the net, I kinda forget what a real ball feels like and these aren't too bad. But the real fun started when I decided to hit these out in the park. They fly pretty realistically, but just not as far. I hit my driver around 100 yards with these (about 285 with a real ball), so they're not really useful in a neighborhood. These also have a lifetime guarantee which is nice.Overall: much better than expected for a foam ball but still not as realistic as a real ball.

These are the best. Don't buy any other type!!
These are the best for backyard use. These are way better than those nerf balls. I got mine a couple of days ago and I took out my pitching wedge and I hit my wedge 100+ yards and i hit 2 of these in a row and both went the exact distance as a regular golf ball. It was hard to believe the distance. I had to knock on the next door neighbors house 2 houses away to retrieve them. These are the best. I am going to try and use these with my driver tomorrow. I will follow up with video.
