NGK 23138 Oxygen Sensor

This is a quality Senser, don't cheap out on Chinese junk. Jeep runs like a champ now.

I had check engine light for rear bank oxygen sensor. I went ahead and replaced all 4 oxygen sensors(192,000 miles).Replaced flange bolts @ cat converter (leak there probably caused light to begin with).Light went out. 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0 L a/tIf you get a OBD code for small vacuum leak, check you gas cap. Often times gasket ring inside cap is worn out.Sometimes people lose caps and replace with what they think is a fitting cap.Replace as needed. It can save you hours looking for a leak under the hood....when it was that darn cap the whole time.Keep in mind, it only has to be a small leak to set off a code.Keep on Jeeping

Perfect OEM fit for my 02 Jeep TJ, and fixed the pesky check engine light issue. Install is straightforward and this is an OEM part. Recommended.

I went with 4 Denso's for my Jeep and one of them heater has failed so I replaced with NTK. Denso is still in Bank 1S1. When I compare the voltage readings this one is more sensitive than Denso one. Voltages jumps around a lot compare to Denso it always at .700-.600v only some time it will go below. NGK one is all over the place all the time.

FYI.....Amazon says this does not fit the 2003 Jeep Liberty. It does. Also confirmed part number and fit on NGK website. Same number listedon website and here. Also, NTK is NGK.Four stars only as I could not give it five stars because its an oxygen sensor people!Also, stay away from Bosch oxygen sensors. They do not last. Be forewarned.

hard to install a little barely feels like it was screwed in! But it shut off the check engine light so i must've got it in good!

Did exactly like it should and removed my check engine light and codes.

Although, the add states that this doesn't work with the 2003 Jeep TJ but it does because the OEM and service manual states these part numbers. It works.

All plugs were incompatible with my jeep despite meeting their own year model recommendations. I had to cut the old plugs just to install. Not happy about that.
