Q: I live in southwest Florida. Will this pick up tiny bugs?

We live near Tampa, It skims well, the screen is mesh. We had to send it back for repair already due to listing on one side. They offered a gift card to DIY, but we were not going to void the warranty. You may want to do a little more research. It is very big and bulky with no handle to pull it out of the pool. There is another one on the market called Solar Breeze, not this one, they went bankrupt and came out again. Definitely stay away from them.

Q: Unit spins non stop with nothing in its way. Anyone know what’s going on?

We had this unit about three weeks and it started this spinning... junk. Sent it back for a replacement which worked a couple weeks then stopped charging. Sent it back for a refund. Not wasting any more time with these.

Q: Does it work with a pool that has an infinite edge and beach access?

If it has beach access then I would say probably not. It has a five minute auto turn however if it beach is it self the Jets may not be strong enough to turn it. The infinite edge may be OK but probably not the beach.
