Lovely looking son was very pleased but a bit tight on the nose I don’t think he has a particularly large one so I will say a wee bit small he has added a few plasters to the inside to stop rubbing I must add we bought this as an ornament for him to display but what can I say boys and there toys do they ever really grow up

Authentic robust helmet and great value for money . Although it is big and slightly heavy for a child my history mad 13 year old son loves it and hopefully it will be good for years to come . No cheap plastic in sight!

This is a very well made solid steel helmet and it has an inner liner and chin strap. It was delivered very quickly, 4 days from order via DHL. Very impressive.

Looks how it does in the picture. It also has a liner at the top and a strap, which isn't immediately apparent. I think they've made these to scale, so it'll feel loose if you're not wearing something like a hauberk under it, as the design intended. Smells kind of bad, but that's just the oil I think.

The person to whom it was sent thought it was great. I never saw it, but I wouldn't mind it as a pressie...

This looks just as advertised. It's handmade in India then sent to Amazon. As it's handmade it's not perfect but it does give it a somewhat used authentic look. It doesn't look like a prop. Heavy and solidly built and plenty big enough for my big head, I'm 6ft 2 and 17 stone. One thing I don't like is the horrid dirty oil it comes coated in. I used washing up liquid and a sponge to get most of it off. The inside is painted black and needs cleaning too. It can fit more securely with the chin strap. I'd say good enough for cosplay or larping. Just give it a good clean.
