Q: How many carpets will 1.5l do many thanks

Use it in a vax carpet machine and I have done 4 x3 bedroom houses up and downs stair carpets and still had some left as the machine mixes the solution.

Q: Can this be used on crused velvet?

Oh my I wouldn't have a clue on crushed velvet. Its carpet and upholstery cleaner so it should be ok. If they are curtains send to dry cleaners if its a suite, test a little bit at the back of a chair. I love this stuff so I use it on everything but I don't have anything crushed velvet.
