I don't usually write reviews unless the product is a dud or exceeds my expectations. This product FAR EXCEEDS my expectations. In a nutshell - this product works as advertised. It has the BEST instruction manual I have ever read - for any product. It guides you step by step and covers all possibilities. It is VERY well written.Secondly and probably more importantly, IT WORKS. I ordered 4 of these and set them all up for sending emails via my home WiFi. They all worked perfectly. One of the devices came with an old battery that only had enough juice to complete the setup. Soon after that it sent me a LOW BATTERY alert - just as it said it would - without me doing anything. I replaced the battery (3V CR123A) and moments later, without me doing anything or having to reconfigure, it sent a BATTERY CHANGE email.This costs a little more than other Leak Detectors but it has fantastic features, good documentation, and it works like a charm (yes, I tested all of them with a simulated leak as well). 5 STARS *****

Easy to set up if you are familiar with internet based stuff. The only complaint is that both of the pair I purchased showed low battery warning so I had to go out and get 2 new CR123a batteries. Kind of a pain but I assume those new batteries will last a few years.

I bought this product earlier and found them easy to program. They have tested accurately and fortunately not been under "real water damage situation". Ordered another pair Feb 2020. One of the units BATTERY indicated that it was already LOW and needed to be REPLACED - right out of the box. The battery protection strip appeared to be in place - but the battery is useless.

I setup and installed 2 of these inside the walls. Tested and working great. I will probably add 2 more of these in the house, and also add a smart valve closer for the water main. This way if a leak happens while I'm away I will be notified and able to remotely kill the water to the house until I can attend to the issue.

I bought a set of two and a single one. All came with low batteries. I was going on vacation, so I did not have time to request and wait for new batteries. I replaced all the batteries at my expense and tested them and all seemed well.Every week I received email logs for the three units. Then after a while, I only got a log concerning one of the units, instead of all three. When I checked I found dead batteries already, from the brand new batteries I had put in. Why did they burn up so quickly? Only one was still good. I never heard beeps, I never received any emails saying "low battery". So I am not happy about that. I had three emails set up, and none of them received a low battery email.I would feel more comfortable if I could log into an app and check to see if the units are connected and what the battery status is, and send me notifications. Also, I wish they would not be shipped with low batteries. The low battery safeguards are just not working.

These are very easy to setup using a mobile phone or computer web page. My only complaint was they arrived with two low batteries. I received alerts as soon as I setup via messaging (which is a nice feature) but prefer to have good fresh batteries when you buy new product out of the box.

I can't recommend this product. It has been a constant struggle to keep them configured. And now one of the two that I own has taken to falsely reporting that there is a water leak when it has not happened. This is suppose to be a product that helps you avoid a flood catastrophe and it is sending false reports!! Both units have gone in the garbage.

Bought this for when our coffee machine overflows onto the floor at work. Been using it for several months, reliable reports, works great. After almost a year, reliable reporting, haven’t changed the battery. Would buy again.
