These pants fit GREAT and you cant beat the price
These pants fit GREAT and you cant beat the price. I bought them specifically for a hiking trip to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado and needed fleece water resistant pants (I know these are specifically for cycling). Took me months to find the right pants. My boyfriend bought himself a pair for the trip and they fit him so well I had to buy them. I am 5'9 roughly 120-125 pounds so the pants were a bit short, sat at the top of my ankle but I was going to be wearing high socks with my hiking boots so it didn't matter. My hiking boots and the pants really complimented each other so you really couldn't notice if they were short or not. They have two pockets in the front that have very sturdy zippers and the pockets are deep enough to hold my Iphone 7 and still had some room. They have a draw string around the waist but I didn't need to use it because they fit me so well. We hiked 5 miles in 2 ft of hard and icy snow and when I would slip and fall, I felt the pants were very protective and I did not become wet. The pants also had a zipper by both ankles as well, although I did not utilize this feature. I cannot say enough good things about these pants. I would absolutely buy these again!

Great deal for the price.
I purchased these for my 5-10 mile winter cycling commute in Minnesota. In comparison with the REI options I was looking at-these were definitely a great cost-effective option. They are serving me well in temps from -5 F to 25 F. They are very warm but still breathe- I often will only wear thin yoga pants underneath-or sometimes I just wear them as my pants and change once I arrive. They have so far proved weatherproof in sleet and snow. I purchased a medium and they are just at my ankle. I'm a 5'10" female (generally 27 inch waist and Long for pants/about 145-150 lbs). They fit my legs perfectly allowing for room for pants underneath -but tight enough so that you don't feel bulky. The butt is a little snug - but I think that is because it is a man's pant? I would definitely purchase them again.

winter bike commuter
These pants are so warm! I'm a winter bike rider and just today wore these over thermal skins in 20 degree, windy weather with wind chill at 8 degrees for 45 minutes and was perfectly comfortable (caveat: I live where it gets a lot colder than that and am used to it so you might not agree with my review ;-). They fit comfortably over another layer - even my work pants (I sized up for that - could wear the next size down solo as a pant) and are not bulky at all around the waist which really makes them work well for cycling. They are a bit long for me but that's fine on a bike - room to move the leg and still cover my ankles. The elastic at the ankle keeps the length from becoming a problem when I walk and the ankle zippers mean easy on and off. It is seriously windy where I live and these block it well. I wish I had found these years ago and will probably buy another pair.

Unflattering fit and odd smell
I received these in the mail today. When I opened the package there was a strong chemical-type smell. I will be washing them before my ride tomorrow morning. I tried them on, and they seem durable enough, but the fit is weird. Not sure if these are men's or unisex, but the waist is tight while the hips are baggy. A little too baggy on the calves as well. I intend to wear base layer padded bike tights under these this winter though so it's probably good they're a bit roomy.

They seem well made and like they'd be warm
I got these to wear on my bike in the colder weather. They seem well made and like they'd be warm. I like the zipper pockets. They are a bit bigger than I thought but that's ok since I can wear leggings underneath. They are a bit long, so I just wrap my Velcro reflecter strips around my ankles and then they are fine. For the price, a good deal I think.

Awesome!
This is an awesome pants for commuting during winter in Seattle!I've tried different pants and this is the best so far. I ordered the Large and It fits me perfectly, I'm 6"2 for 195 pounds and 36/32.It keeps my legs warm and it's REALLY breathable! I'm sweating a lot in general, and I was really surprised to see my legs completely dry after my commute of 10 miles. The only problem is the 'waterproof' on only the front side but I might purchase another one anyway ... :)

The pants do what they say. I have worn ...
The pants do what they say. I have worn them below 20 degrees (with a base layer). The only problem that I have had was with one of the zippers, the zipper split. I ran the zipper up and down a couple times and it seemed to realign. Hopefully it will hold, we will see. The zippers need to be made of a higher quality material.

Great trousers
I use them in late autumn to early spring, they aren't overly thick but nice and warm, good movement in them, excellent fit, I'm 6'2" & a 36" waist 33" leg and XL is absolutely perfect. I don't know why you would pay a fortune for fox etc, when these are a fraction of the price and stand up to usual MTB abuse. Give them a try, I don't think you'll be sorry.
