The cute animals renewed my 4 year olds interest in his forgotten wooden train set. It works perfectly well with my IKEA train tracks & with my other train cars that I got from some other company [not sure where I got those from.]-1 star because unless he pushes the train along rather slowly & carefully, the little animals wobble in their seats, topple over & sometimes fall out. I won't take off a second star even though there are 3 animals but only two of the train cars have openings for them to sit in. My son was annoyed about that for a day or two. He got over it & plays with this every evening. Takes a lot of convincing to get him away from it so that we can start our bedtime routine.

I bought this train set for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. It is exactly as described in the product description and as picture on the product page. I feel that the magnets connecting the cars are just as strong as the Thomas Trains are. I love the little animals that come with it. My daughter likes to makes the sounds of the animals as she sees them. I love this set for the price and feel that it is a safe toy for her. You do not need to have a train track to play with these either, we just play on the floor. I would recommend this train to any parents of a toddler. Just imagine your little one yelling choo- choo and making animal sounds too. I can't wait to get the other animal train as well.

I ordered this little train set for my grandsons - 2 & 3 years old. I have purchased 3 of the Thomas series trains for them in the past and the circus train is similar in size and design, but it is not of that series. They got a train/car table with wooden tracks for Christmas and this little t rain set works perfectly on it. It is well made and has bright colors. My grandsons enjoy the connector magnets. It is a good price and good quality for that price and I am sure that it will take the tough play it will get.

My now three year old daughter (she was two when she got this train) loves this, especially the animals that came with. She and her twin brother have a train table with tracks, and this was a fun addition to the set. The only complaint is that a tiny piece of wood broke off the engine after only a couple of weeks of play.

Our son is a bit under age for this toy but we watch him while he plays with the trains then put them away out of reach when he's done. He has thrown them a few times already and no broken pieces! Yay! He looooves the trains! The paint does come off a bit easy on the painted wooden animals and they're only painted on one side. Meh. Over all great though!

This is very cute but beware that the animals are only painted on one side of the figure. I used for my daughters circus birthday party and loved that it was a bit more on the girly side. I also purchased the Janod brand and combined the two circus trains -worked great together. Only complaint is that they really should have both sides of the animal figures painted.... Not unhappy with my purchase but not sure I'd buy again if I knew that.

Adorable and seem to be of high quality. The only thing I don't like about it is that the magnets don't hold together going up the train track hills. This may be typical of train sets . . . . I don't know, because this was our first.

Cute and works fine with imaginarium train track. I thought it was a little odd that there is one more animal than car to place it in, and I did not like that the animals are printed only on one side.
