Astronaut Boots

Got these to go with my son’s Halloween costume. They look cool, but aren’t necessarily a must if you have a good costume. I got them instead of buying black shoes/boots for his costume, but he wore his costume at school without them and it was fine. He only wore them at home for Halloween. They are a little hard to work with - found it best to put the boots on first and shoes after. Overall, they are icing on the cake for sure, but not a dealbreaker if the rest of your costume is on point. Sizing was weird. I measured his shoes (9T) and they were slightly longer than the smallest size per the size chart. Ordered the small size anyway and they fit fine.

These were the final purchase to complete my son's astronaut costume. I have bought different pieces the last few years since each piece can be expensive and all together it wasn't something we could afford to buy all at once. He now has the suit, helmet, gloves, boots and a jetpack I made for him. The first year he just wore the suit, I bought it a little large, and the helmet. Last year I made a jet pack, and this year is the best overall look, the whole thing together finally! These astronaut boots, size large, were the perfect fit for his size 4 tennis shoes and hiking boots. These boots are not actual boots, they are just boot covers that go over your shoes. There are no actual bottoms, just two elastic straps to hold the boots in place. They can be difficult to get on. The best way to do it is to put your regular shoes on, then slip these over your shoes, sticking your shoe between the two elastic straps as you pull it up. He had trouble getting these on at school by himself because he was trying to stick his shoe into the boot and down. He was finally able to do it with some help, but it is so much easier to just put your regular shoes on first, then these. He really liked the drawstring at the top of the boots, it kept the suit pants tucked in all afternoon at school and all evening while out trick or treating. He will be able to play in these for probably another year before he grows out of them. The elastic has not shown any wear from Halloween itself. If it does, it will be easy to replace. I purchased these astronaut boot covers on Amazon, paying full price for them. I find it helpful to read other people's reviews when I am considering purchasing something, so try and write reviews for my online purchases too. These are awesome and went perfectly with the rest of his costume. He will wear this around the house for dress up long after halloween is over. Paired with the white space suit, gloves, helmet and backpack and he looked amazing. Received tons of compliments! He did not actually end up wearing them trick or treating because he had to wear his boots and they would not fit over them. But, they fit nicely over a regular pair of tennis shoes. He is 6-years-old and wears a size 3 shoe.

Made well & looks cool BUT is difficult to put on. The boot is large & bulky in appearance, but it's a tight squeeze on the inside. NO BOTTOM, so it should be worn with shoes IF you intend to wear them outside. However, you can't have your shoes on before putting on the boot because there's not enough room inside the boot to slide through the heel area with a pair of shoes on. First, you need to put on the boot... then attempt to put on shoes with the boots on. It's a little difficult, but it can be done. If you intend to purchase the boots for indoor use with no shoes, such as for imaginative play (VERSUS wearing it outside with shoes on for trick or treating) you shouldn't have any difficulty.

Great shoe covers. A little difficult for even my 12-year-old to put on and take off on his own. They look like full boots when worn. De excelente calidad aunque le quedó un poco pequeño tiene excelente diseño y son muy lindos me gustan mucho las estampas que trae en la parte de atrás.

I purchased these boots to go along with the astronaut suit. They were really cool and the kid couldnt wait to get into them. They were relly small and tight :( I thought because they were Jr. that they would be ok but they were more like toddler. He really wanted to wear them so I had to cut them down the front and and put him in black socks so that the outfit went off as planned. The boot itself is great!

Perfect addition to my son's astronaut costume. He is a sz 7 shoe and the large is perfect fit!
