Nice and compact........
Exactly as it is listed. This is a great survival kit, very compact and includes everything you would need in a survival situation. You do have to add your own matches into the kit. It has a match container/holder, but no actual matches. The product doesn't list matches, but we weren't sure when we ordered it so we weren't really expecting it one way or another, just a heads up really. Matches are so inexpensive though that it isn't a big deal. The container is of really good quality as well, it will definitely withstand some beating. Our 15 month old got his hands on it and was throwing it everywhere, and no damage to the packaging. We did not test out the seal to ensure that it would be waterproof, but that is something a little duct tape could solve easily. Either way the products included are of a great quality as well, and we would definitely recommend this to someone searching for something similar that is easy to put in your backpack, car, purse, wherever you would want to easily store a survival kit.

Pros and Cons.
I like it! Ive yet to use it. For emergency bag use. Good quality knife. I wish it where sharper. When we think of opening a fish, i doubt this knife could work. (It lacks sharpness) But because Ive yet to try it. I could be wrong. Pros 1. All the products mentioned above are present. 2. The overall design of the canister is nice however I’ll give it a four star because it tends to open on its own without the adhesive tape that it comes to hold the lid. (Nuisance. Then your emergency or hike bag is a mess). 3. Item arrived on time. 4. Seller has good reviews👍🏼. 5. The point here in purchasing this items for me: has a magnesium strip to start a fire and a emergency blacket if I’m ever lost in a trail, this is my Togo items.

Survival Kit
I bought this as a 'stocking stuffer' type gift for a friend of mine and they are *very* happy with it. They love the compact size (about the size of an Altoids tin) and are very happy with the contents. What made me choose this Survival Kit over other, more expensive kits was the contents and the size combined. My friend is an outdoor person - camps a lot, etc ~ they already have a 'medical emergency' type kit they carry with them so I didn't think they needed anything with those type of supplies - but these items - the mini saw, waterproof matches / case, firestarter stick thing, fishing line, razor blade, fishing line / hooks - all inherently more useful items than *many* of the other survival kits I looked at (and I looked at a lot of them). My friend opened it up and was just pleased as punch ~ they're happy, I'm happy :o)The order came from Aspen Ridge Products (fulfilled by Amazon) and it arrived very quickly. I would definitely buy another one from them if I have need for it.

So I received my order on time an that's a good thing but as I opened each order I noticed ...
I ordered 2 of these kits to give to friends or coworkers just to open them up about being prepared for any type of emergency ,you know just a small starter kit . So I received my order on time an that's a good thing but as I opened each order I noticed that each of the tin boxes had some separation at the seams so I empty the contents of each survival tin an went into my kitchen to add water to each of them ,well they Failed so now to the knife that comes with it .its a cheap knife but for the price it's ok ,would I trust my life on it? NO WAY . I guess what I'm saying is its an ok starter kit to give away to share about being prepared you know like back in school , a show an tell but with a serious discussion about preparedness. Do as I did ,show the good as well the bad for example Place ten foil inside the tin box to where your able hold water and boil it . So for my self i can only give it 2 stars an for the price well it could come down some ,yes I know it's not grade A but still. I would say $ 14.00 for it an I know 17 or even 20 not that expensive but when I buy something I expected not falling apart. so 2 stars it is.

The clown car of emergency tins!
It's a very cool little box of goodies...Aspen Ridge managed to put a lot of important things in one little tin. There's hooks and line with a lure, a whistle with a little compass, a neat stainless pocket knife, a wire saw, razor, mylar blanket, a pencil, a Firestarter, tealight and ear plugs. The box is reasonably thought out and very light. The only thing I might have added would have been maybe making the inside of the lid reflective for signaling but all in all, a nice little stocking stuffer for a new prepper or just to keep in the car for emergencies. Would not advise for a serious prepper.

Quality in a box
This is a complete emergency kit. I really wanted this as for our car. We just downsized from a van to a compact car. It is amazing how small a small car is. I feel better having this in the glove box. My husband cannot complain about the size, or should I say not complain too much as he really enjoys complaining. It has every thing one could want and it is . Of a high quality. We live in the woods so if we had to hoof it home this kit would be worth its weight in gold. It is a bit heavy for my purse with everything else I have in it so I would make my husband happy by letting him carry it. He will be so happy all the way home.

Good kit. Excellent Seller Follow-up
I like the items that this kit contains. I originally thought it was a little pricey, but after using some of the items - I think the price is just about right. A family member used the little saw and found that while it would take a while to cut through it, the saw worked great and would be ideal in a survival situation. The saw works great, but don't expect to use it to cut down tree; just to saw through small pieces firewood.

Very compact and has some useful items. The recipient loved it
Bought as a gift and I opened and checked it out. Very compact and has some useful items. The recipient loved it. I'm sure that some of the items were not the highest quality and that you could probably make this yourself for less money but for those of us not inclined to do that, it would be useful to have these items on hand while hiking or camping just in case.
